Use the stock size (6.9mm) rear sight. It will shoot low with the 6.5mm sight. I got the 6.9mm and 7.3mm sights for my G20LS, and it was shooting about 2" high with the 7.3mm sight. I'm going to change to the 6.9mm. The 6.9mm also works with my G29, and all .45ACP and 10mm guns come stock with 6.9mm.

They make the different sights to adjust for different impact points. Like I said above, the .45ACP and 10mm guns use the 6.9mm rear. The higher and lower sights are used to adjust point of impact. They should only be used if you just cannot get your shooting right. If you're off right now, just keep shooting. The 6.9mm sight is the right one for a G20. Every step up to a higher sight will move your point of impact up by 2" at 25 yards. Every step down brings it down by 2" at 25 yards.

awdxtc,

My Glock 20 has the standard height 6.9mm sight and it shoots way high at 50 yards using a sandbag rest. You need to run some tests to find out the difference between POA and POI at different yardages. After I do a little more sandbag testing I will more than likely buy the 6.5mm sight for mine. The image below shows you how to tell the difference between the different sights.

That is good information. The meanings of those icons are something that I never deciphered the meaning of. Thanks!

Taterhead, it really surprises me sometimes what some folks know and what they don't know. This is one of those basic things that has been around since the early 90's, but very few know about it. The sights are all the same, meaning that they are interchangeable from one model to another. Most folks have always thought you had to buy Glock 20 sights for the Glock 20 & 21 and that they were not the same as the sights for the smaller framed pistols. So I keep trying to spread the word and pass on the knowledge. What is it that they say... "Knowledge is Power". Power to the people, baby!!
