The RMSc is the only RDS that I am aware of that allows you to use standard height sights. The slide must be milled.

And, as MajorD noted, cowitness applies to rifles, not pistols. One doesn't cowitness with a pistol - you use the irons as backups.
This ^^
The RMSc is the cats azz

Since I see this post still getting some activity figured I’d update it.

I went with the 507k and gl-105 ameriglo sights. They are I dot tritium made for the slim lines specifically and they cowitness perfectly. To the naked eye they look maybe a mm, give or take, higher then the standard sights. with these, the 507k and CHPWS filler plate I get perfect cowitness, the 507k body cuts off just a bottom hair of my tritium but I can align they front sight with the top of the rear sight and still see plenty of tritium to make dead on shots with the dot off.

a HUGE improvement to the 43x was adding the tlr7 sub. The added muzzle weight combined with the clamp that makes almost like a gas pedal I can shoot much faster without my groups opening at all.

combine all this with a tenicor sagax lux holster and you have the perfect Carry setup

I just picked up a 48 MOS and I'm putting a 407k with the CHPWS filler plate. I just want to clarify that yours is a lower 1/3 co-witness or an absolute co-witness?

EDC is a 48MOS with a RMSc. It doesn’t require a plate but a very thin template, which you don’t really need. Dot sits low enough that I co-witness with standard sights. I currently have standard Ameriglo night sights on mine.

The RMSc has a cut out in the rear so you front sight remains visible. I think this is the best setup. Only issue is availability and expense of the RMSc. I like the RMSc because it is more streamlined then the others.

Agree. More streamlined... is a good way of explaining.
