Pretty interesting. I love the IWA show. I always see some cool stuff.

Might be a long time before it comes into the states. Looks like a very nice high end Austrian pistol. Base price is 4250 Euros

It is kind of funny how they misspelled Laugo…

Ditching the gaseous delayed blowback action is a clear win. Using a proven and readily available magazine pattern is a good bonus. I look forward to trying out the end result.

The electronic module upgrade is pretty fascinating. It’ll be interesting to see how tech evolves in the gun design process moving forward. I’m not sure how necessary it is but very cool regardless
I would probably do without that for the extra $900. Cool in some ways, but goofy as well.

There is no reason for a pistol to cost that much. I could buy a car for that price. So I will say they can keep it
Hilarious first post

Sounds like you lack some knowledge, quite frankly. Not all handguns are meant for the masses, just like not all cars are meant for the masses.

Deal with it. You go buy your $5000 car. I’ll buy a Venator

You can appreciate a work of art without being able to afford an original Gauguin.

They ARE for the masses, just not to own.

The masses will never see one in person, so I can’t agree. Appreciate pictures and videos? Sure.

Unlike a painting, it’s hard to fully appreciate a gun if you can’t shoot it or even handle it. I don’t think the painting analogy works.

That being said, I’ll rephrase it. They aren’t marketed to the masses, just like luxury, exotic, boutique cars aren’t.

If I ever end up face to face with the Mona Lisa I am going to be unimpressed with it. The only thing is has going for it is historicity, which really is scarcity.

Maybe it's because I'm more of an experience kind of guy vs objects person. I suspect you are more into the objects themselves.

I think you missed my point but keep on buying those works of art please. Someone needs to feed the artists who are making them.

And just like I have seen some works of the great masters in person I have also handled a few guns I will never own.

I appreciate them all and believe me, I am one of the masses.

You got it, my friend

If they ever come stateside, I will grab one. I’m not doing the goofy electronic module though.

Are you suggesting they should purchase a Zastava? No, no, no... not THAT Zastava! Not the firearm! I mean the CAR!

I mean the car made by Zastava called the "Yugo" from the late 80's and early 90's. Yes, the Yugo is in the news again because they are planning the re-release of a new Yugo (I don't know why!). And comedians worldwide are happy for the punchline for many new jokes!

The Yugo (not the SKS Yugo, the car Yugo!) may not sell at the $3,990 price tag of old, but I do think it might sell in the same range as some of the items in your gun collection!

Thankfully we all get to choose what we spend our own money on!

Another video. I’m really liking this pistol and I like the video. The owner of the company comes off very genuine and humble, in my opinion.

I think entry into the US market is a minimum of 2 to 3 years away and that’s without setbacks. It took Laugo 2 to 3 years to get the Alien into the states.

I’m don’t care about the electronic module and would buy one without it. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the launch is successful, the company survives, and expands into other markets, including the states. I really like the design and the unique looks of it. Would love to have one in my collection.
