This HK is a pass for me. I don't see how it does anything better than my Shield Plus
Since the market has become quite saturated with smallish pistols, it's not that one may do anything better than another, but that a particular manufacturer may be able to get a piece of the growing pie already being shared by other gun makers. Brand loyalists can still be target groups among the market. :)

Since I put a usable thumb safety on my shield Plus I think it is highly unlikely anyone is going to introduce anything that will entice me to switch.

I am intrigued by the SFP9CC and want one, as long as the HK CC9 or whatever they end up calling it, is the same gun.
The CC9 is definitely NOT the same gun as the SFP9CC. Different gun with a different design and different purpose for a different intended end-user.

I have seen some images floating around but maybe the real thing will be different or at least, maybe there will be a variety of options. I hope so. Time will tell.

Might be the smallest HK has fielded, but it might not be as small as some may desire ...

If those specs are correct, it won't be for me.

It's noticably taller than the P365:

It's more of a Shield sized gun. And even that, only with the flat baseplate:

For some that's just fine. Just not my preference.

I would certainly buy the HK before the SIG if I were in the market. HK will have to release one with a paddle release and thumb safety to get me to consider letting go of $600+ though.

The official specs are out; with the 12rd magazine, It's basically the same size as the P365x.
While putting 12 rounds in a gun the size of the X/XL isn't that significant, it is interesting that the 12 round mag isn't much bigger than their 10 round mag.

For what it's worth, the MSRP is $699, so these will be under $600 street price pretty quickly. For comparison, the MSRP of a Glock 43x MOS is $580, but we all know you can get them in the $450 range all day long.
