Do you own the pistol or rifle version of the PSA AK 102 5.56?

I already own a Zpap85 and would consider a mini Beryl pistol first. Weird laws in MD because AK/AR (non heavy barrel) are evil. AK/AR pistols are gtg IF they are on the good (approved) list.

Wanted real feedback on the AK 102. Not interested in spending coins. Have not communicated with anybody that owns one. The common answer is ‘to avoid PSA AKs.”

I have both. I wouldn't knock the PSA. Both have been stellar.

Own several PSA AK's. All have been good guns. I still have a 2nd Gen aka GB2 PSA AK. I have two 100 series AK's. A GF3 AK. And the 556 AK that takes AR mags. The 102 started out as a pistol. The 104 a barreled assembly (furniture ready)

FWIW, I have a PSA AK-103 (7.62) and it runs like every other AK I’ve ever owned. Eats steel ammo and doesn’t burp ever. It’s a gassy bastard but has good manners otherwise.

I also have a KS-47 pistol in 7.62 that runs all day as well. It’ll show you what your ears are for and seems to favor magpul magazines but behaves otherwise.

I don’t see why any of their other AK offerings would be any different. It’s not a complicated design and they have their lane and the AK 102 is certainly in the PSA “lane”.

I say go for it…

The AC Unity along with the lexan and fiberglass waffle pattern Pioneer Arms mags do quite well in the KS47.

Glad to hear I am not the only American shooter, that is not afraid of steel in AK. Eating steel is part of the DNA of the AK platform.

My sentiments as well. An AK that won’t eat steel case is an AK that finds a new home. Then again I have that stance for all my guns.
