Pretty happy to finally be wrapping this up. Took a lot longer than expected but I'm satisfied with the outcome.

Based on an ADM lower, FCD upper, Midwest Industries Nightfighter handguard, Criterion Core barrel, etc.. Cerakote by WeaponWorksLLC.

Well done those are all great parts , I have a similar LMT with the CORE barrel set up by Wilson for the MRP.

Thank you, LMT makes really great stuff. My 2025 plan is to get much deeper into carbine training and that's what I built this general purpose rifle for.

Good old Weaponworks. A pita to get into and out sometimes on University drive. But a good group of guys.
Zac is awesome, he took good care of me.

PWS ratchet castle nut? I use them on every build now. Their buffer tubes are slick too.
Nice build.
You're the first one to notice and comment on it. lol I think some of the gun snobs don't like it but it's the one part I picked entirely for looks.

I put a drop of loc-tite on the threads because the people who probably never owned one say the ratchet mechanism will eventually fail. Q doesn't stake their castle nuts, they just loctite them and never have problems so I'm confident this will hold.

I need that grip and rail panels ASAP OP.

Where buy?
RailScales XOS and the bottom one is specifically the XOS-H with the cut out for their handstop.
Driven Arms Co ULCG Gen 2 - I purchased a few of their grips and that trendy kung fu grip that's all over instagram. The ULCG Gen 2 was the best IMO. The kung fu grip felt cheap.

Another slick build, you’re **** is always on point and makes me want to spend money
Appreciate it! It's an addiction.

Big fan of LMT. Wish they would use CHF barrels but that’s a very minor criticism. I’m aware their 4150 barrels are cryogenically treated. Would be real curious to see how well they hold up under high volumes of fire compared to say a good CHF by Noveske, FN, Daniel, etc.

Being able to quickly change barrels/calibers out on that platform + the monolithic rail for LAM use is a big selling point for me.

I’ve lusted after the MARS-H for quite some time now OP.

Excellent rifle mang! Might could pick up a CQB my buddy wants to sell me for $2,000 here soon.

I have an OG LMT barrel 16 with over 10 K through it mostly Green tip its still a 1.5 MOA barrel with match 5.56 ammo , I think LMT has some of the best barrels when you get an in spec one , my Extonian reference rifle is a 14.3 ish barrel and I can get close to MOA out of it with Sig match ammo only about 2.5K through that one

It's too pretty to beat upon.

I sincerely hope you shoot under NODs otherwise I see no practical purpose to the massive Unity risers. I'm also not a flip magnifier guy but damn you've sank some loot into that blaster.

Hope it shoots as well as it looks.

Did you do a complete LMT lower or stripped with what parts like trigger?
On my 5.56 Gas I built the lower, on my 308 and piston they are factory guns .

The lower came with the ambi parts I used a Larue MBT trigger , and Geissele Ultra duty takedown pins, a Super 42 receiver extension with spring and H2 buffer to finish it, LMT SOPMOD stock and B5 grip .
I'll post a pic later.

NODs are on the short list and the local training group that I use also host NVG carbine classes.

Even without, I really like the height. In the past, I used ADM's co-witness height optic mounts. I have a dry fire wall in my office / gun room and this heads-up stance is just so much more comfortable for me but there are legitimate reasons to avoid increased height over bore.

I like starting with pretty and then watching them patina with use. IMO adds character and begins looking even better.

NV is a whole other hole to toss money into. I think my total investment is right at $6K and that was three years ago when there was a little less demand. Have fun with it.
