Today was a fun day at the range. I decided to pit my P10C OR against my new Walther PDP F 4-inch. Both guns are very similar:
1. Striker-fired
2. Ergonomically pleasing
3. Decent triggers
4. Reliable
5. Accurate (if I did my part)
6. Equipped with Holosun SCS green dot sights
7. 15-round magazines
8. 200 rounds each of Herter's 115-grain 9mm
Trigger pull quality: Walther for the win. It is very different from my DA / SA CZs and different enough from the P10C — light, crisp, decent reset.
Hand fit: CZ for the win. Maybe it's because I'm so used to CZs, but the P10C grip feels as if it's sculpted to fit me.
Accuracy from 8 to 20 yards: Dead heat tie. Neither gun had the edge over the other.
Rapid-fire recoil control: Dead heat tie. Neither gun had the edge over the other, although the Walther was slightly flippy, with the CZ pushing straight back in the hand.
Controls: Walther for the win by a mile. The slide release and magazine release are on-point perfection. Reloads were lightning-fast.
One-hand shooting: CZ for the win due to its grip fitment. Walther wasn't far behind, though.
Anyway, I'll probably run the Walther PDP F against the CZ P07 in the future, turning off the Holosun SCS to make it fair since the P07 just has irons.
