I'd say that 45acp is very popular with some segments of the market. As a whole, private citizens have been driven more to 9mm due to several factors.

Agreed. Cost and availability are two, as well as capacity. So is the fact that so many new gun owners have never shot before, and 9mm is much milder to learn on than .45 ACP, as well as the smaller and lighter handguns that shoot 9mm.

I've read fair amount l about various problems with the striker fired SIGs from their inception and have reserved judgement until now.

This video of the P320 undeniable and damning.
hmmm....I don't think we watched the same video

I remember both issues. FN and Sig. Yes I believe it had to hit at a certain angle.
Unacceptable to me, especially for a firearm designed in the last decade.

Wow even holstering or unholstering could cause it to discharge, at least the pre-upgrade P320 had to be dropped at a certain angle to go off.

And FN got exactly 0% of the hate and hype that SIG dude.

Gotta love the daily dose of double standard on GT and the firearms community in general.

Looks almost like the holster caused it. Cop was bending down and the holstered gun goes off? Holster is the culprit here?
I sense an attempt to try and keep this thread alive for some reason.

This has been discussed ad nauseum, and still nothing has shown any fault of the pistol itself.
