Yes that’s why I would never swap out the firing pin in a carry pistol. He beat the pistol pretty hard with the factoey firing pin and it did not touch the primer. To me it showed it is drop and carry safe.Given the product liability, companies send out products they deem safe for their intended purpose. Using lighter firing pins was a way to prevent an AD without the need for firing pin blocks. I wouldn’t change to extended firing pins, or lighter springs, in a carry gun, for the reason shown in the video. I no longer have compact CZs for carry, but the same logic applies to other guns I do own.
Def bigger and heavier than a micro for sure. I’m hoping for a micro hammer fired pistol from them this year but I’m not holding my breath. A p05 would be amazing!Any drop-safe issues are not what keeps me from carrying an S2c. That fact it's half a pound heavier and bigger overall than other options is.

Sounds like a valid argument against the DA/SA.Unfortunately there aren't currently any double stack DA-SA pistols the size of a 365, or even a Shield Plus.

It is my favorite action for a pistolSounds like a valid argument against the DA/SA.
Have you looked at the FN Reflex? It’s uses an internal hammer fired SAO. It’s not DA/SA but it seems interesting and has been getting positive feedback.Unfortunately there aren't currently any double stack DA-SA pistols the size of a 365, or even a Shield Plus.

I shot one. It wouldn’t be high on my list if I ever moved on from my HellcatHave you looked at the FN Reflex? It’s uses an internal hammer fired SAO. It’s not DA/SA but it seems interesting and has been getting positive feedback.

The FN Reflex is a precisely accurate 9mm pistol for everyday carry and perfected for deep concealment. With an internal hammer and multiple redundant safeties, the trigger is the smoothest, most refined fire control in an FN carry pistol. Thanks, that’s good to know. It seemed to be getting a lot of positive feedback, but too many reviewers are extensions of gun marketing departments it seems. Other than one of my CZs, I sold off all my other handguns that weren’t GLOCKs or 1911s, so if a gun isn’t one or the other it’s not really on my radar now. I stumbled across the Reflex and info on the micro-compact (SFP9CC) HK plans on releasing, while do some research on other guns.I shot one. Yes I do find it to be a fantastic pistol so far. You actually convinced me to buy my first shadow when I came across a good deal on a S2 Orange a few years back. It’s started me down a rabbit hole there is no climbing out of.Glad you like it. I love my Shadow 2 Orange and AccuShadow 2, albeit they aren’t carry guns at 46oz empty.
I’ve shot one and I found the trigger reset to be incredibly long. I know it’s a defensive pistol and not a comp trigger but I could see that causing false resets often. It had a bit more muzzle rise then I expected as well.Have you looked at the FN Reflex? It’s uses an internal hammer fired SAO. The Hk is on my radar as well but I don’t expect it until Q4 this year. Thanks, that’s good to know. What? No arguing? That’s like going into a strip bar and telling the guys not to look!I posted for a good discussion, No arguing. Genuinely curious on your thought after the video. I love mine and find it to be the best shooting compact I own.
If I move a few more guns, the Staccato CS and P were on my list to potentially add back to my collection. The SAS II is an interesting gun, but I haven’t been able to get my hands on one.I’ve actually considered getting another BUL Armory SAS ii to carry.
I had a couple HK VP9s that I really liked, so I’m interested to hear feedback on the micro-compact even though I’m not in the market for one.The Hk is on my radar as well but I don’t expect it until Q4 this year.
You’re not wrong but he did show both firing pins and which held and which didn’t. Also you can carry the S2C at half cock or decocked if you choose. Also everybody that carries a staccato on or off duty also carries a pistol without a FPB. Just food for thought. It's one person's opinion not gospel. check out his work and if you agree fine but don't then that's fine too.
You know what is said about opinions and it hold true in this case too.
