The territory has no state constitutional right to keep and bear arms.) Only legal residents with a Puerto Rico Weapons License issued under Law 404-2000 (or non-residents with any state permit once MOU's are established) can concealed carry.Jul 12, 2020.

Do you speak fluent Spanish? I wouldn’t carry otherwise.

DON’t DO IT!
Don’t even think about carrying a gun down there.
Even a pocket knife could get you in trouble.

Funny, isn’t it, that the places wheee you might need a gun are the very places that habe severe restrictions.
That's because they want you to be a victim so you have to depend completely on the Government for your protection.

I carry there whenever I visit. LEOSA is a wonderful thing.
As much as I respect cops, I think LEOSA and the other carveouts for law enforcement are horrible. Despite the recent rhetoric, cops are civilians. Their rights should be civilian rights.

THIS!!! My brother is retired NYPD and he can carry his Glock anywhere at any time. And that stooge isn't even a gun guy. He even questioned me once why I needed an AR 15. My answer to him was that he was right... I do not need an AR 15... I need many AR 15's. What a dumbass. (side note... I don't speak to him anymore).

We're the one(s) who'll step in between you, or your wife, or kid, or grand kid (the list is endless, because it has no end) & the scumbag.....armed or not......while you sit or stand there, wishing you had your gun....or the stones to step up & do what you watch us do.....or you hear about later, since you weren't there to defend them. That we've retired is meaningless to 99.9% of us because we never stop serving when & if the opportunity arises. Additionally, who better than us to deal with an active threat? You? Someone in your family that's never had to before? Or someone that dealt with hostile individuals on a consistent basis for 20, 25, 30, 35 years? You can claim that we're 'the same' until you're blue in the face, but you're wrong & so is anyone else that is of the same opinion. We dedicated our lives to a career that too often required some of us to sacrifice our life to defend someone we've never met, in an instant & without any hesitation whatsoever. You & 99% of the rest of the population didn't. That's fine, few can perform the job. But we took an oath to defend the populous. That oath has no expiration date. You didn't. So, no. We're not the same as a civilian.

Sounds great. I applaud you. Now tell me, as part of your oath, would you have considered taking an unlawful order like confiscating guns from law abiding folks if ordered to do so?

I can't give you a realistic answer on that hypothetical because luckily, I never found myself in that situation but knowing me, I can assume that I wouldn't have.

And yet you have no legal duty to protect OR to serve (DeShaney v. Winnebago County Department of Social Services), as was evidenced in spades in Uvalde and in Parkland.

I appreciate your service, I really do. But part of being a free person is not having to depend on others for one's own safety. The fact that you're allowed to carry where I'm not - and can buy things that I can't - and yet, you're still THE SAME TYPE OF CITIZEN AS I AM - is the problem. I'm sorry you can't see it from my perspective.

Laughs in combat Vet. Someone already said, some animals are more equal.

Any 'legal duty' to protect is irrelevant to me & those like me. We do it anyway.
Your opinion that I & we are the same type of civilian as you, is equally irrelevant to me & us.
You're entitled to your opinion, as am I.
