I've been a member of this auction site for nearly a year now and about a week ago it didn't recognize my password, just as I was closing in on a G26.5, so I had to scramble and create a new password before the auction ended. Got lucky and scored the Glock for $385. Whew! Now, two days ago, the same thing happened with the NEW password ... GB wouldn't accept it.

Anyone else having issues with the site and their password? I tried the Help box and there were no ways to contact them directly that I could find.

I hadn't logged in for while but did so in the last couple weeks.

Each time, there's been a pop-up dialogue box saying GB wants me to change my password often, but I just dismissed the box and it didn't force me to update. It still accepts my current password.

Just logged in. No problem. It did say I should change my password, but I clicked on the "Not Now" option and continued on. That password is several years old. I probably should change it.

I’ve had similar pop-ups. It happens when there is a pending IOS update sometimes, and it’s happened randomly to me. Fortunately, I haven’t been forced to change my password yet. I don’t use GunBroker that often because tax, credit card and transfer fees have resulted in fewer “deals” from a buying perspective and it seems there are a lot more scam listings than I recall seeing in the past.

Yeah, I understand the assorted fees, but even after addding it all up, I was in to the new G26.5 for about $480, which is just about $25 more than Blue Label pricing ... and I've already blown my two BL purchases for 2023.

You can still find deals, they’re just harder to come by now, but my bigger issue is the number of scams that exist and GunBroker‘s slow response to them. One of the last auctions I won the seller failed to honor. The same seller must have done it to other buyers as they accrued dozens of “F” ratings over a 30 day period. Despite it being reported to GB by me and several others (based on feedback for the seller), GB allowed the seller to continue posting auctions. There are reputable sellers that I have no problem bidding their auctions, but I see more suspect activity now compared to my previous experience on the site.

My only complaint about Gunbroker, is so few sellers, post feedback, after a transaction.

Gunbroker has always worked fine for me. Gotta say that I really like the 15 minute rule. If all other auction sites implemented something like this, sniping would be a thing of the past.

Yep. Just because online vendors didn't used to collect it doesn't mean it wasn't still due if your state collects it.

I am on gunbroker all the time. I haven't had any such problems, and I even use a VPN. I am careful to watch for unrated sellers. I have never had any problems in 275 transactions over 16 years.

Clear your browser cache, and cookies, see if that helps.
