Glock 34 Gen 5 is the best CC handgun of all time
Could you expound on your reasons?

I like my G34 (Gen 4) quite well but it's more for HD and competition. Like @bossharp I prefer my G35 (which also has a 9mm conversion barrel). Oddly enough, for me, my G35 (with either barrel) is more accurate than my G34. Go figure :)

If I were to go back to carrying a Glock I imagine it would be the G45.

Ok, so Glock decided to make a 5th generation of their best gun for many reasons. With the larger back strap it feels like a handgun should. The larger size also reduces recoil for better follow up shots AND the longer length actually improves concealment based upon the keel effect.

marketing departments have brainwashed otherwise intelligent people into thinking smaller and narrower is more concealable. But with the right holster and alignment a larger gun is sometimes better. This is what I have found to be the case.

If by CC you mean CONCEALED carry you are wrong. Even the G19 is is a little hard to comfortably conceal but is way better than the G19 or the even larger G34.
I'd suggest it really depends on the person's body type/size/weight. The first Glock I carried off duty was a G17. Carried OWB under a T-shirt and you'd never know I was carrying. I can carry a G21 like that as well, and do when I'm walking a trail.

Look, I like my p365xl with WC lower, a TD proledge and katana base. But when drawing and firing it is just another compact. It doesn’t have the right feel (for me) and it doesn’t carry any better than the 34/5 imho.

Agreed, My gen3 g35/tlr1 is my nightstand pistol and is a tack driver. Recoil is at my gen4 g21 level. Hands down the best shooting glock I own.

Ok, I know you do stand-up comedy. So tell us, what's your real name?
Even if you won't tell, please don't stop these comments- they're hilarious!

What a happy, funny way to end 2022!
