So are the MOS versions of the Ms all labeled as Gen 5 now? I don’t recall the photos of the 19Ms with the MOS labeled as such. Glock definitely has soMe erratic labeling at times.
The gun in this thread is the first that I’ve seen with those markings, but the first time I heard the MOS guns referred to as the “19M Gen5” was in November 2020, I think.

Most of the MOS guns that are in the field are SWAT guns, though a few have been issued to new agents and some firearms instructors. The only ones I’ve seen in person are SWAT guns.

Congratulations Sig M11, thats great. You certainly have got a great setup. Whats your personal opinion of the "M" now that you are learning it better. Are you happy with it?
I‘ve had an issued and personal G19M since 2018. Great pistols. Very accurate with the marksman barrel. Easy to carry. I turned in my G21 to make room on my list to pick up the 19M. Never looked back.

With regard to the MOS versions, I figured that is where the future was going. I got both the 17M MOS and the 19M MOS. (I had to take my personal G19M off my list to make room for the new G19M MOS)

[you are allowed to have three personally owned pistols approved to carry. For Me: G43X, 17M MOS, and 19M MOS]. I still have my issued 2018 G19M.

I think it will take a bit of time to adjust to shooting the red dot. (These are my first optic mounted pistols and I have been shooting iron sights since 1990)

Qualified on this pistol with the RMR today, so I am good to carry it now.

A very solid training day. Ton of rounds through the pistol.

Got the RMR sighted, but I need to work on picking up the dot as I present the pistol.
Check out Vigr Training....he comes highly recommended and teaches LE specific training....just bring a patch for him..lol

Nice setup, particularly with the Trijicon RMR.
Thank you. I like it a lot.

One drawback. It is not easy to conceal a G17M with this light. (Not that I believed that it would be...but it is really hard)

Fortunately, it is getting colder so the winter coat will be out soon...

Also, i should be getting the G19M MOS soon and I am putting the Streamlight TLR-7A on that one.

That should be ok.

What is the differences in the TLR series? I was at Stream light's sight but there is no option to compare different models.
Is the difference only in lumens?
Will the TLR series fit a G17? I just got a Shadow System DR920, it is suppose to be a G17 clone, will any of the TLR series fit it?
Thanks in advance.

I have no issues with my Gen 5 19MOS with a TLR7A in a Tenicor holster, but the damn clips can be a beech to get on and off.....lol
