My old C1100Z appears to be on it's last legs. My connected devices start and stop intermittently throughout the day. I'm looking for a dual band. I checked availability on Amazon, but most of them have such poor reviews. I am hoping for a "plug and play", because customer service is not the best around. I know that CenturyLink sucks, but Comcast Xfinity sucks a bigger one, so I'm left with the lesser of two evils.

Many thanks,

I have the same modem as you do.
If I was to upgrade, I'd go with C3000A for no other reason than it seems to win most of the reviews.

They don’t, I bought one from CenturyLink for $200. It’s smoking fast now with no problems. We have CenturyLink and Comcast to choose from here and I‘ve had great service with Centurylink.

I got the C4000LZ, the setup was very easy. I didn’t need help from customer service, it was basically plug and play. It’s working very well for me.
