I realize this has presumably been pounded into the ground, yet show kindness, I'm new to the Discussion.
I'm searching for certain conclusions on the G45 versus the 19X. In the event that you as of now have a G45 is there any point in getting a 19X? (other than it looks cool and more is always better).
Are there any geniuses or cons that one has over the other? Only searching for certain sentiments/encounters. Much appreciated!

I have a G19X, just because it’s cool. It sits in the gun room in its box. I have a G45 with TLR-1 by my bed and another by the back room door. I don’t like the G19X’s limitation on magazine base plates. It’s 2022, just do away with the “lip” and call it good already. I never though it would be a problem, the lip and having to use non Gen 5 mag base plates, but it was enough to be irritating for me.

It's anything but simple. If you want to magknow what simple is, try changing the floorplate on a Wilson 1911 mag and then try the same thing with a Glock magazine floorplate. Glock floorplates are a pain in the butt to change.
After ditching the thought of needing a magazine tool for years I bought one. Man I was the "TOOL" for not doing this a long time ago. Glock mag plates have always been a hassle for me. This tool is really that easy!

I don't know about current 19X production pistols on if Glock is now installing the Gen 5 47021 ejector or not. The older G19X came with the Gen 4 30274 ejector.

I ordered a few Gen 5 trigger housings in late 202 or early 2021 from Brownels and they were for the 19X. It was a Gen 5 housing with a Gen 4 ejector.

Either one will work just fine and both are an improvement over the 336 ejector.

As others have said. the easier solution for using Gen 5 magazines in a 19X is to just swap out the Gen 5 base plate for a Gen 4 base plate.

I owned both the 19X and 45. I get them when they were first released. I liked both. I like the G45 a little bit more. I still have the G45. I gave the 19X to my son-in-law as a gift. Had I. It given it to him I would still have it.
The diffferences:
G19X -
The frame lip. Will not accept Gen 5 mags, which are now more prevalent. Smaller mag bases are available
Nice 3 dot night sights.
Lanyard thingie.
Cool color with matching mags, 2 19 round mags. ;)

G45 -
Black is beautiful.
Front serrations. I like them. If you don’t. Please don’t whin. Buy something else.
Standard sights.

Both
Have Gen 5 mag releases
Have Marksman barrels - still not sure how these are better.
CANNOT accept many aftermarket internal parts for Gen 1-4.

Of the 2 I liked my G45 better. If I wanted to buy another of them two I would buy a G45. Both guns shot about the same in regards yo accuracy.
I did add Tru Glo TFX sights to my G45. Love ‘em.

I must admit that I dislike Coyote or FDE.

The 19X can only use 19X mags because of the lip.
Get the G45. And spray paint it if you like the 19X color.
Get the G45 or:

The frame is coyote color is not a coat, took me a minute to remove the stoopid lip and don't damage a thing, now it takes all mags, two minute work and 0 damage!

Started with G19 back in 2006. Then owned many more, not only Glocks.
G45 is a great shooting gun and I owned one for about 3 years.
My favorite for shooting is G17, would be even carrying it if I wasn't 5'7" 169, fits my medium hands (3 5/8" top to bottom palm); G45 close second, very comfortable with but as with G17, since in my state we have capacity restrictions G19 made the most sense in size to capacity ratio really, especially for carry option. Longer grip does help with shorter slide recoil a great deal though.
G19 is really really perfect for full size option for smaller folks and that works for me. G17 is the king for many reasons. So if considering G45 for CCW, depending on how you plan to carry, G17 may fit the bill better as you're not far off from full size by going with G45.
Given the choice 19x vs G45, G45 hands down is my recommendation. That mag lip would drive me nuts but this is a matter of preference. After many many pistols went to G19 Gen 5 and fall is love with it again. Oh what a great feeling it is.
Sorry to confuse you more ;)

You're right on the ejector.

The differences between the G19X and the G45 minimal. The magazine issue is easily overcome by swapping floor plates. It comes down to color and whether or not you care for forward cocking serrations. If you have big meaty hands like I do you’ll appreciate the lip on the 19X.

19x has night sites and maritime cups
45 can get mos model if you want a rds.
Other than that not much difference other than the mag inconvenience, I prefer the 19x since it’s ready outta the box for my needs.
I was waiting for someone to mention this.
Yep, the 19X comes with factory maritime spring cups for water use and a twinge more reliability in muck…
