In my opinion I would love to see a Glock 26X. It would be the perfect compromise between a 43X and a 45. Short barrel for appendix carry, but 15 rounds with a Glock 19 sized grip, and it would take 15 round Glock 19 mags, or any other high capacity Glock mags. I would buy that in a heartbeat.

Exactly, how many of us have a Glock 26 with a plus two OEM extension for everyday carry? When I worked on TPD all of our plainclothes undercover guns were Glock 27’s with an OEM plus 2. We loved them.
I much prefer being able to put a longer magazine in with spacer or extended baseplate and be able to go back to flush, rather than being forced into a longer grip

My issue with the X-grip (and similar products) is that I have a very strong grip (you might say death grip) where my palm causes the x-grip to move out of alignment, thus causing feeding issues. YMMV.

Given a G19 or a theoretical "G26X" with both having the same grip length, I'll stay with the G19.

$10.99 extension off Ebay. I don't like the recessed pinky area feel on the X-Grip.

A bit of Gorilla Glue or something similar between the top of the baseplate and the X grip takes care of that, so long as you're willing to make the donor G19 mag a dedicated G26 mag.

Well that's worth a try......and I did. Matching texture, though the humps little different. How's it feel in the hand?

I went to the range once with the sleeve. Feels fine to me. I just bought another one. $10.99 is worth a shot. No pun intended.

It's a +5 extension that was advertised for the 19/23 but I stuck it on a G26 mag. It actually will hold 16 but you can't insert it with a closed slide with 16. I actually like it better than the slide-on extensions for 15 rnd mags....doesn't slide around like they do.

I still use normal mags with the Pearce +2 ext for carry, but I have used this one extensively at the range and it works fine.

I'm another one who doesn't like the idea of a longer grip on the G26. I can go from 10 flush fit to 12 to 15 to 17, you can't make a long grip shorter.
