Hey guys, Wanting to get an HK. Only have glocks now. Wondering if the new USP pistols are assembled in Germany. Or just parts made there. Anyone know?

Looks like there's a couple USA facilities,
If you have a choice IMO buy a totally built German H&k.
In the long term the 100% only German Made Guns have been more sought after.

I think the HK45 series is the only line made in the States, in Columbus, GA.

USP's are definitely made in Germany.

Thanks. I've seen pictures of two different markings on usp models, One saying sideams. They are both marked " made in Germany "

Any USP I’ve seen was German proofed, which means built in Germany

All Hk’s are German made except the Hk 45. I have one and it states made in USA but the barrel is made in Germany.

You are absolutely correct. I have a 45C and it was manufactured in Columbus Ga. The Hk 45 line is the only Hk manufactured outside Germany. The 45C I own is impeccably made. I have 10 different Hk handguns and they all are 100% reliable and the 45C is no exception. Outstanding handguns. One interesting thing, the barrel in my 45C is made in Germany. When I disassembled it I saw the German stamping you always see on the outside of German made Hk’s.

H&K USP Compact is IMHO one of the top pistols ever made.

I have a USP Compact 9mm. Probably my favorite handgun I own. It’s a tank. The only downside is the factory sights. They’re fine and durable, but I replaces mine with tritium night sights, and it’s perfect. My go to handgun.
