Just placed an order for my first Vedder Holster f/my G45. Some of you may be like me (man whore when it comes to multiple holsters LOL) but looking to see anyone that has one how they like it (probably should of asked b4 ordering 🤣🤣)

I've got two and they aren't anything special. The WML holster has nearly zero retention and the other had the ride height/cant adjustment holes drilled improperly.

I have Light tuck iwb

My early model light tuck has better quality and craftsmanship than my newer one. But it do like their holsters.

I have to agree about the WML comment. I’m a big Vedder Lightuck fan and have over a dozen of their holsters but the one that I have that was designed around a weapon light has very light retention to the point that it doesn’t exist. I contacted them and talked with them about this issue and they were super nice about it. They explained that the holster uses retention almost 100% on the light itself and it’s trickier to achieve the same amount of retention as a pistol without a light that uses the trigger guard as the retention points.

They wanted me to send it back but in the end, decided to keep it and have been happy with it except for this one issue. I have a few other light bearing holsters from Multiholsters and those snap in with authority so it seems Vedder hasn’t quite figured out the light/retention issue completely. I’ve been able to achieve enough retention by messing with the tension screw so that it’s workable though it still doesn’t have quite the retention I’m used to. Apart from this issue, my other non-light bearing Lighttucks are my go-to kydex holsters. Nothing else feels as good or conceals as well.
