Was at my local LGS on Sunday and in the used gun case was a G3 Glock 27 for $229. The gun has no box and only one magazine. I bought it. I don't see any Glocks for that price and I know .40 S&W has come out of favor and I can probably say the same for the G26/27 platform, but I have always been one to buck trends.

What do you all think?

Now, thanks to some Florida law that makes an LGS hold used guns for 30 days so that the state can check the SN of the gun to see if it's stolen or used in a crime, I have to wait a few weeks for it. No big deal to me.

Once I get it, I will eventually pick a G26 barrel just for the flexibility of being able to run both calibers with it. I'll get some more magazines as well.

Nice find. Love my G27. As others stated a G26 barrel won't work very well.

For 9mm use. All you will need a 40-9mm conversion barrel and 9mm magazine only.

Thanks everyone. I figured I did alright.

The gun appears to be completely stock and in good condition. The trigger feels like a stock G3. The barrel has minimal wear. I will probably replace the trigger with one from G17 as I prefer the smooth face trigger shoe, and maybe replace the connector with a Glock DOT connector, but no rush. I know I am not a minority in this crowd as I have no issues with a stock Glock trigger.

My first plan is to get it, bring it to the range a few times as it is, and most likely keep it as is, but who knows. I have a "few" other guns, so again, no rush.

I actually did the 33/27 barrel/magazine swap. Every six months <for the past 20 years>, it's been a swap out of the two. Best two-fer decision I've ever made.

The great price surprises me, but what really surprises me is that there is a LGS open on Sunday. :)
Ma and Pa LGS are usually closed. But the big corporate owned Sporting Goods and Pawn Shops will take your money on Sunday.

Great deal.

I will turn around and sell it for $400+ two towns over or use it in a trade.
