I agree with Posts 2 & 3; also, I'm going to guess the OP doesn't have a G19 gen1, as these are considered vintage collectible firearms and likely worth more than a new glock with rail; a modern weapon light; a holster for all; and ammo.

I could believe the OP has a G19 gen2. Without pics, there's likely no Gen1 Glock 19 involved here.

A newer Glock with accessory rail is the way to go. The latest Glock 19 models available new will be in Gen3 or Gen5. With Blue Labell pricing, the gun price would be ~$450 out the door, and a weapon light of choice ~$200. I'd choose Streamlight or Surefire, but choose the light and holster together. Each light brand has several models available; are fairly reliable with good customer service/parts/repair, if ever needed; and many holster makers offering various holster models to go with the many combinations of G19 w/weapon-light (but again, choose the light and holster at the same time to ensure finding a holster for that combo).

Definitely a G2 19.

To say that a legit G1 19 is rare and valuable gun would be an extreme understatement. The current market value stands in excess of $25K. A public offer has been made from a serious high-end collector to acquire one at that price point without a single current owner willing to let one go even at that price.

Here is the grip frame on a real G1 19. Notice how the “pebble” finish follows through all the way around on front side of frame, whereas, the front strap on the frame of a G2 doesn’t carry the pebble finish all the way around. Once you know, it’s easy to see immediately. Plus, there are only 10 or so known G1 19’s in collector hands, outside of the two in museums, in the entire world. Yours would have been previously unknown in the collector world. A true G1 19 is an extremely rare gem for sure.
