I like cheap handguns that work. By working I mean guns that are dependable and accurate enough to be used for self defense. They might not be fancy or have a good resale value but that doesn't really bother to me. I had rather have a gun that works and 500 rounds of ammo than a fancy gun and 50 rounds.
My cheap guns would be,
My KelTec P3AT, been carrying it for years.
My Canik TP9sa, bought it when most people said they were junk.
My Rossi 38 snub nose. Bought a used one but the guy begged for it back so I got a new one about 20 years ago. I liked the old one better though.
When Ruger came out with the SR series I bought a used P97 cheap and it makes shooting 45acp fun. Big and chunky but soaks up the recoil.
Anyone else have any elcheapo guns that works for them?

I'll catch hate for it, but the Taurus G2C/G3C/G3 lineup. Own and have Owned several and never had a problem with them. There's a lot of them out there with very few lemons, that we know of.

I forgot about my Taurus G2c 40cal. Haven't shot it enough to verify reliability but I like it. Heck cheap but dependable would describe pretty near every handgun I own.

This thread is about cheap guns you "own" that work. I doubt anyone will admit owning a HiPoint, heck half on here won't even admit owning a Taurus.

Walther PPS M2. Bought the LE version several years ago at cabelas for $319 and there was a $20 friends of NRA coupon they applied. $299 before taxes. Awesome gun. Easily my favorite subcompact gun to shoot. Zero issues

I have an LCP II in .380 that is about as cheap as it gets, works fine.

I was referring to guns anyone could buy cheap but if you found a deal I don't mind hearing about it. My threads are pretty much open to anything goes until a pissing match gets started.
