Have seen one G19 gen 3 with a loose CL. Pulled it and replaced after the channel was cleaned and de-lubed with Acetone. Installed, Pow Pow.
My G23.3 was also like this out of the box NIB. Removing the firing pin assy would drag the channel liner out with it which could just be pushed right back in. These are issues with the liner molding process and this specific issue with the OEM channel liner isnt all that uncommon, so apparently either QC or tolerances mean very little. Its the molding process, because a new plastic OEM liner had to be beaten in with the tool like normal. Plastic liner with variations in smoothness and consistancy also explain why some stock triggers are good and others are garbage.

Good post

Anybody have any experience with the steel firing pin channel liners? I bought one on a whim online as it was cheap enough, havent installed it yet, but I havent been able to find anyone that has actually used them, only posts by the mfg (which are usually always less than accurate). I know the brass one might be prone to corrosion, but stainless steel less so. The firing pin assembly is smooth as silk riding on the inside but again Ive not been able to find any end user info or "reviews" if you will. I'm looking at replacing the oem liner anyway as I bought the pistol (41.4) used and upon replacing the gouged spacer I noticed nicks in the top of the liner when I shined a light down the inside.

Thanks.
I run them in my glock 19 and 17. They work fine. Don't know what these other folks are talking about. Trust me you will feel a big difference in the trigger pull running the stainless steel liners.

My SW99's don't have plastic channel liners (polished steel surface inside slide's striker assembly channel), but my Glocks and M&P's do have plastic channel liners. Both designs seem to work well as intended by the makers.

I haven't worn out any spring cups in any of the guns.

It's a solution looking for a problem.

Still waiting for a Glock Store $75.00 Tungsten channel liner to come to market.

Metals are old school. This is the latest in technology, VAPOR GROWN CARBON FIBERS-REINFORCED BERYLLIUM COMPOSITE. Guaranteed to lighten your trigger pull, but especially your wallet.
