Congratulations! The Czechmate is one of my next CZs. I thoroughly enjoy my TSO and Shadow 2 Orange, also have Shadow 2 Optics Ready on the way to my FFL.
Very nice. I don't own many CZ's these days, but here they are.

CZ 75 Kadet, CZ 75, CZ Shadow z Orange, CZ 75 Champion, CZ 75 TS Czechmate

Very nice CZ collection! Wish I would've gotten into CZs before my Glock collection got so big.

Very nice Brian. Regarding fit and finish. CZ is certainly improving. I always felt the earlier models suffered from Communist bloc, military standards of manufacturing. It only has to work.....doesn't have to look good.

I kind of an early adopter of the TS for competition in my neck of the woods. I switched to a 1911 in 9mm after a few seasons. The TS was just too heavy to "drive" quickly between targets and my split times suffered. Also, the slide profile was just too slim for me to grab during reloads. I don't use the slide "release" during reloads. I go over-the-top to grab the slide for reloads.

It was incredibly reliable though, VERY accurate and the trigger was 1.5 pounds!!!! That was actually too light for my tastes.

Yeah the trigger on my TS and now the Czechmate are both very light, as in well under two pounds.

My 75 Champion has the same trigger weight, but the fact that it’s trigger is steel vastly improves the feel of it. My Champion has one of the best triggers of all of my pistols. The Czechmate would be there too if it weren’t plastic.

Really incomprehensible that CZ would put a plastic trigger on their flagship Open pistol.

...and yes, my 1985 Cold War 75 pictured above is pretty crude. I own it for historical purposes, but I’ve never been a fan of Com-bloc handguns. I don’t really like any of them.

Congrats. I have a Shadow 2 but it isn't the orange or the czechmate. It is a very nice shooter and from what I hear you should be happy, because the other two are even better.

Thanks

The S2 Orange is clearly the higher quality pistol between the two, but I do love the look of the Czechmate and the higher grip it allows. Feels awesome in hand.

JMHO but you will love the Shadow 2 Orange

Thank you sir

Cell phone cameras are pretty impressive these days, but those are some fine pictures regardless of what you took them with!

Very impressive CZ collection! Minty Cold War era CZ 75. :cowboy:

Fantastic pictures of some beautiful CZs. Bought my first one a year ago, a P-07, and fell in love. Have since added a P-01 and SP-01. Trying to explain to my wife why the next CZ I bring home has to either be blue or orange. After her shooting the SP-01 I have a hunch she may actually come to agree with me. The Czechmate will probably be the one I’ll want for a while.

Yeah the Czechmate is tough because of the price. Really an awesome looking pistol though. I love how low it sits in hand.
