I have probably purchased 15 sets of Trijicon HD night sights over the years and they have always came in the package on the left.

Today I received another set from Amazon and they came in the package on the right.

Does anyone know if Trijicon changed their packaging? Also, you know how the writing on the front & rear sight is a small white sticker, it's totally different on the ones I received today.

I bought a set just a little over a month ago but they were dated 2019. They came in the packaging like you have on the left. The writing on them is the same as the other 3 sets that I’ve owned (in white). I’m sure they could’ve changed packaging and label design though.

These don't even have the date on them either.
They look just like my other Trijicon night sights and they are bright.
I sent an email to Trijicon but have yet to hear back from them.

Trijicon replaced a rear sight for me. I just received it from the Trijicon factory yesterday and it came in the new packaging.

I just checked out my 2 pistols that have trijicon night sights. The same style as yours. I bought both guns used. They had these sights on them when i puschased them. They are the exact same sights on both guns. One is a gen5 19, the other is a 19X they are model GL1010 trijicon HD sights. One set all the white marking is gone front and rear. The other set has everything on it front and rear except the date code for the front one. The front sight says 1 and the other nomber is gone. Everything else that was painted on is there. On the rear one. Its all there but the date is made at an angle but it looks like 18. That would jive with the production cause its the 19X. From what I've seen the sights could be 6 months or a year difference on dates. Go to trijicon websight and scroll thru the pictures of this sight and in the 2nd picture you will see the date code of 11, for 2011? But yours are for sure letter codes?

I also received a set of HD Sights today, From Amazon (Shipped and Sold) and they came in the same packaging. I remember reading somewhere the Sights are now coming with laser marks rather than the white text that always seems to come off that indicates production year, and I guess the packaging was part of the change. Interestingly on the packaging it now says "Assembled In USA" when all the old Trijicon sight packages I have, have "Made in USA" on them.

Does the new package say "Built in the USA" or "Made in the USA" or other?

Built in the USA means assembled here but made elsewhere.

An acquaintance of ours that works for Trijicon in Wixon MI told us that some of their optics, parts and steel sights are outsourced overseas.

The Wording is "Assembled in The USA" on the new packaging, while the old packaging displayed "Made In USA". I'm familiar with how some of Trijicons products are marked as assembled in the USA, I have an Accupower thats Assembled in the USA with Japanese Glass. Thought it was interesting to see "Assembled in The USA" on the new production HDs for sure.

Hmmm. I also have a bunch of Trijicon HD sights, all came in the old packaging, and all were marked "Made in USA." I knew that Trijicon sourced some of its optic glass from Japan, and that its Accupower line of scopes were basically manufactured in Japan (I have a 1-8X28 and did have a 1-4X24 Accupower scope. Both had made in Japan on the bottom side of the main turrett). But I assumed that everything else was made in USA. A real bummer if the HDs are being made elsewhere.

Seeing what you just posted, I checked some of my old sight packaging (I still have all of it) and it does say "assembled in the USA" rather than "made." Wow. Guess I was mistaken about how American Trijicon really is. Hopefully this means that the tritium vials were sourced elsewhere and that the sights themselves were machined here.

I have a few old packages out in my shed.
I'll see if I can find them.
I wish it would say Made is USA and I would almost bet that is what the used to say.

Actually, he said a lot of their machining is now done overseas.

It's sad, because Trijicon used to pride themselves on being MADE IN USA.
