My #1 issue with Glocks is that they slip when I start sweating and I lose control of the weapon. I have used talon rubber grips with some success, but found the Brooks Tactical A-grip to be the best overall for maintaining a purchase on the weapon when sweating. I have yet to use the granulated Talon grips, but would like to. The A-grip is truly unbelievably ugly, it looks like an ugly suede couch, but it gets the job done.

What are your favorite grips for glocks to improve your purchase on the gun?

Either get a GLOCK model with an RTF2 frame (G17, G19, G21, G22, G23, G31, G32) or get a GLOCK RTF2 frame and mate it with the compatible GLOCK slide assembly. :cowboy:

Man. The RTF glock is awesome.. very aggressive grip, but just perfect in my opinion. They were available new from glock a year or two ago.. dont know if they still are.. i bought a 17 and 22 for collection reasons.. and bought a police trade in g22 a couple weeks ago.. paid 380 plus transfer. I paid about 80 to 100 of the 380 because it was brand new. Still had the copper anti seize.. and it has the cool gills on the slide.

I dont think they are extremely expensive or that difficult to find.. they have a very strong following.. so try one out if you can.. but if you bought one and tried it a year you will likely break even... or could make a few bucks..

Granulated Talon grips 100% if you're not into a permanent stipple job. You can dip your hands in lotion and it won't slip. My glocks are stippled but I just put the granulated talons on my M&P 45 and it's fantastic. I was told not to use the granulated for your CCW as it can rub supple skin raw throughout the day. Give them a try for sure!

I have talon grips on my gen 3 19. They are the skateboard tape style. They work real well. They are not real expensive. And they make it so you are can return the gun to stock. Ive got a vickers 19 gen 3 its about the perfect glock grip for me.

I’ve competed at a match and lost as much as 8# at a match.
Sweat and slippery has not been new and I’ve used everything, I’ve got a roll of the rubberized and the skate tape on a shelf. The grips on Glocks and stippling do not work as well as the A grip.

Unfortunately the gun owners today are fickle and worry more of looks vs results. Sorry if this is offensive but an observation from comments this Forum brings to the forefront.

I buy a pair of quality leather golfing gloves. The grip is unbelievable, like glue. I get them small for my hands so the fit is very snug. Works very well and also good for fall and spring cooler weather as well as summer heat and sweating. I will also use them if my hands start to get fatigued.

I much prefer the texture of the Gen 4s over the earlier guns. Likewise the slightly smaller circumference. If I plan on spending a lot of time at the range I'll put on a set of Mechanix gloves. If I need the gun in earnest, I want it grippy.

The Granulated Talons is the best Iv ever had for sweaty hands. Absolutely zero slippage in the hand. Would probably be zero slipping even if you dunked your whole hand in oil.

I just bought one of these and made my hands stronger to give me more grip. Works for all my guns
