Thank you very much for that information. I have decided to get one and I'm saving up for one right now. I hope the rear slide cover is durable since it is what keeps the slide on the frame rails. Time will tell , but I am willing to buy one very soon. This pistol has my attention way more than the 43 and Shield ever did.
You’re welcome! Field stripping is breeze.

The rear cover feels pretty solid and is metal, it has a button in the middle you depress to push the striker forward and then the cover pops right off.

Side note - Mossberg mags do fit the G43 but with a little front to back play. Doesn’t feel like it should effect feeding.

When you use the Mossberg 7 round magazine in the G43 does it feel like an extension of the grip or is there a mismatch? If you have time to post a picture of this it would be much appreciated.
Below is MC1 7 round magazines in the 43, little bit of the MC1 mag hangs over the front of 43 handle but not much.

I handled one today a little at a lgs. The clear mags aren't a turnoff to anyone?
As long as they work I'm willing to put them through there paces and can always use 43 mags or whatever else may come out aftermarket. I can guarantee I will run many rounds through the Mossberg magazines and if I have a problem I will let you know here.

Yes, they are but only because I associate clear mags with ETS. Mossberg is making their own, not buying them from ETS and putting their name on them. I don't think there is anything wrong with clear plastic as a material as long as it used in a quality magazine.

I sorta think Hickok 45 likes how the gun shot (hot seemed to do well with it), but he was a little skeptical of the takedown procedure. He also said it needed grip tape, but every gun on the table had grip tape on them.

The listed loaded weight is 22oz for the MC1 and 20.64oz for the G43. Heavier, but not 3oz heavier.

The mossberg site does not say if that is with the 6 or 7 round mag. I'm also assuming none of those weights include one in the pipe.
Unloaded and no magazines I weighed the MC1 at 18.13 oz. and the Glock 43 again no magazine 16.26 oz. I also weighed the Sig 365 with no magazine at 16.40 oz

With magazines inserted but empty and both with the factory pinky extension the MC1 at 19.25 oz. and the 43 at 18.20 oz.
