I took the plunge and completed a SS80 build with Glock 43 parts and XS Big Dot. Used a dremel, drill, and sandpaper. Took about 1 1/2hr to complete the project. Everything is functional and I plan to live fire this weekend. I also pick up a TLR-6 for my G43

Personally I prefer the ergonomics of the 80% lower but getting a slide.... and then there is the p365.

If you search and not in a rush, you can find complete uppers on Gunbrocker, Ebay, and this forum’s classified ads.

I still have the P365 on my mind, but I am going to wait a bit.

I forgot to say that I already have a CCR black nitride finished 43 so no push for the ss80.

I forgot about this thread, and I made a few range trips with my SS80/Glock 43 clone. With Glock magazines, the little guy ate everything (124 fmj/jhp and 115 fmj/jhp) without a hiccup. I tried the 7rd ETS magazines and I had FTF problems with them. The rounds would get stuck and it was a pain in the butt to get them unstuck.
