Curious as to those of you who have a Gen 4 or 5 Glock use one of the grip backstraps. I had been using the medium beavertail backstrap, but now I am not sure I want to do that any longer. It may have the best size out of the box.

Frank Proctor had a similar deal as that partial backstrap posted by Holmes375 on his G34 when I took a class with him. He had taken a beavertail backstrap and cut it below the pin. I think it's a great idea and I've really thought about doing that but I'm exceedingly lazy and don't want to do it on all my guns. Currently I'm running without any backstraps. My tendonitis goes nuts with Glocks but isn't so bad with 1911s, so that more "vertical" grip might be of benefit. Did I mention I'm lazy?

I tried the medium beavertail backstrap in dry fire and I liked the feel but, right or wrong, I like getting my hand a bit higher on the grip, so I ended up leaving it off.

I’ve owned a few Gen4s (sold them) and currently have a Gen5 19. I have larger hands but I’ve never used the backstraps.

I tried a couple different backstraps on my 21SF and didn't care for the fit or feel of the grip. So none for me.

I tried all the back straps on the G41 but in the end I found none provided the best feeling grip for me. And none also seemed to get me a higher grip, closer to the bore axis.
