Just wanted to take a moment and brag on what might possibly be the best CCW IWB holster I have owned.

The Alien Gear CloakTuck 3.0 is by far the most concealable and comfortable holster I have ever owned.

Paid $50 for it and I wish I had done this a few years ago, because I got a drawer full of holsters that just don’t quite do it.

I own about 10 of Alien Gear's OWB "Cloak Slide" holsters for a variety of guns. By far my favorite for carry under a t-shirt, because they hold the gun tight to the body and just plain work. And only $37 - $43 shipped, depending on color. Boom.

With three side clips I can carry three guns in the same space.
But you aren't, and you won't, so what's the point? You just want to tell someone else that you don't like their holster?

I use an Alien Gear for my G27, as my EDC and love it. They got the best value, comfort and guarantee.

Yes, they do a nice job. The combination of a kydex body and Leather backing is a winner.
I love my well worn Comp-tac MTAC holster, might have to try Alien Gear, but for my money Comp-tac is hard to beat. There Infidel holster is really well designed and made.

I've had both a 2.0 and 3.0 and they just didn't work for me. Holster wrapped half way around my waist, could only be in one position, and would get hot. Plus taking on and off was a chore. I thought it was too much holster for a lightweight polymer pistol, but probably good to help distribute weight of a heavier steel framed pistol.

I prefer a slim single clip kydex type holster, like the Zorn Skinny rig. It can be positioned anywhere along my waist, and easily installed/removed without removing the pistol.

Alien Gear's belt slide holsters are a nice OWB holster though.

I also wear a cloak tuck 3.0 for my G23 and i love it. Very comfortable. I tried a couple different holsters before I wound up with the Alien gear and ill never go back. I have yet to try their new holster system but i might down the road. it comes with 4 holsters in one.

OH YES! But I have and many times just for the halibut. I'm just saying you are wasting a lot of money. But that's your call....

Buying a good holster for concealed carry is by no means a waste of money. Having a quality holster for your weapon supported by a quality belt is the only way to seriously concealed carry a pistol. Anyone who says differently has not carried a pistol day in and day out or just simply doesn’t know any better.

I have at least an Alien Gear cloaktuck 3.0 for each of my carry guns. I have other holsters from other makers also, but whenever buy a new carry gun, the AG is one of the first holsters I order for it.
