FYI. Looks like CZ P10C may not be ready for prime time? I liked shooting one other than trigger reach was too short for me.

The CZ P10C is new, the VP9 is not. I suppose we could base our opinion on MAC’s torture test of it but would that be wise, a sample of one or two? CZ has some issues to be addressed and I am sure they will be but it is early in the production cycle of this gun. I am at 50%, like I was with my G36 or my Gen 3 G19.I never understood this excuse. So should people reconsider Jennings pistols then because no company has a perfect track record?
IMO the P10C certainly seems to have shown quite a few more problems for owners, especially considering the few that are out there, than most other new SF pistols. Take the HK VP9 as an example. HK has shipped well over 100,000 of them by reports from reputable sources and one rarely hears/reads about a legitimate problem with the VP9 even from day one other than a handful reporting that the charging inserts by the rear sight fell out which is not exactly a show stopper and will not prevent the pistol from functioning. Only other complaints I am seeing are new shooters using weak ammo and not lubricating properly first range trip.
That is true but the HK VP9 was good to go out of the box from day 1 with typical HK testing and quality. Sadly that has become pretty uncommon in recent years for new pistol designs. The CZ P10C is new, the VP9 is not.
I also disagree about the trigger. After 800 rounds mine just keeps getting sweeter. Accurate as any polymer gun I have shot as well. I also can’t complain about CZ’s customer service. I know CZ will make the guns right. It just stinks to have issues with a new product when you weren’t expecting them.I respectfully disagree about the trigger, it is every bit as good as the PPQ or the TP9SF Elite (only one I have shot). All three have excellent triggers, the PPQ has a lighter break but my P10C trigger is fantastic. But it can pinch near the frame but it met all my expectations. However, the QC does not seem to be where it should. My pic above, Wayne Jessie’s P10C and a few others I have read about show that. As for me, met all my expectations...at least mine that worked lol
I’m guessing you didn’t mention this issue to the buyer either??this is what happened to my P10c after one shot out of the box. notice the slide did not go forward. I sold the gun after 2 weeks of frustration. CZ ain't what it used to be. View attachment 356287
Striker safety spring was not in place correctly from the factory. 30 second fix.this is what happened to my P10c after one shot out of the box. notice the slide did not go forward. I sold the gun after 2 weeks of frustration. CZ ain't what it used to be. View attachment 356287
This is why the brother don't do CZ plastic pistols regardless of make and model.I will. I have a small fortune in CZ long guns and pistols. The P10, as far as I know, is the first gun CZ has used for the buying public to test for them. I own one. It’s been back to CZ twice. I’m used to better than this from CZ. They’ll get their act together soon or I’m done buying new guns from them. This ain’t the CZ I knew.
I disclosed the issue and he bought it anyway. Caveat emptor.I’m guessing you didn’t mention this issue to the buyer either??
Good to know. You’re a decent human being. Right when I read that you sold it I pictured the “LNIB with only 100 flawless rounds fired!” HahaI disclosed the issue and he bought it anyway. Caveat emptor.
It might be a 10 second fix once the problem has been identified which often can be the most time consuming part.Striker safety spring was not in place correctly from the factory. 30 second fix.
I certainly won’t argue that getting a new gun and having issues with it definitely hurts your confidence in a weapon but on the other hand I feel whether it be a CZ, Glock, or whatever you should teach yourself how it works and how to do basic smith work on it. The CZ is a very simple design. There are certain design issues I don’t quite understand why CZ chose to use but it’s still a very simple design. It’s far from being a complicated design. It might be a 10 second fix once the problem has been identified which often can be the most time consuming part.
But most likely Will Rudy and others who sold their P10Cs just lost confidence in it and did not want to have to deal with it anymore wondering when the problem might come back and what else could go wrong.
I wouldnt say that, it is frustrating but a new design for them, new problems. CZ makes excellent guns, never had an issue till this gun but it will get fixed. Granted, my problem CZ fired just fine, just wouldnt come apart without some handy work.this is what happened to my P10c after one shot out of the box. notice the slide did not go forward. I sold the gun after 2 weeks of frustration. CZ ain't what it used to be. View attachment 356287
My first CZ is over 2k rounds now and it is amazing. IMO, beats out my PPQ and rivals my Zev Tech triggers in my Zev Glocks.I also disagree about the trigger. After 800 rounds mine just keeps getting sweeter. Accurate as any polymer gun I have shot as well. I also can’t complain about CZ’s customer service. I know CZ will make the guns right. It just stinks to have issues with a new product when you weren’t expecting them.
Aren’t most Tube reviewers on the “take”? I thought it was funny when many of the Tubers were giving glowing reviews at the same time for the latest Turkish cap gun. Many of them mentioned touring the factory in Turkey. Wonder who paid for that?MAC goes on a trip to Czechoslovakia and then comes back and raves about the new CZ?
Not making accusations, just wondering. No doubt completely innocent.
Never a cynic.
