There are dozens of good stocks out there that can reduce/eliminate wobble if it annoys you.

One of my favorite is the MFT Battlelink Minimalist Stock. I've used them on several of my ARs and they have all fit perfect with no wobble. I like them because they are lightweight, tough, and minimalist (as the name implies).

I like the Battlelink Minimalist Stock as well.
I will add my vote to this stock as well. Not expensive either!

When I was AR15'ing I preferred ACE Skeleton stocks...they're simple, strong as hell, with no wobble ever, and come in different lengths, different stock and foam buffer tube cover colors (all the usual suspects from black to FDE), and sling attachment options. Example below:

Hmmmm....I may have to check that one out. Thanks for the head's up on this one! :)

I like the way this one looks though.

It's a ruger 556 ar15. The current stock wobbles. What stock should I get?
I adapt to factory so I don't wind up dependent on aftermarket stuff. YMMV. tom.:cowboy:

At different times, I've had BCM Gunfighter stocks and MFT Minimalist stocks on my carbines. The MFT adds around 3/4" extra to the length of pull. It doesn't sound like a lot, but if you're tall, you'll appreciate it. Both of these have a rock solid lock up on a buffer tube, although that does vary by rifle.

Magpul makes really good stocks. Depending on how much cheek weld you want, they have an option that you'll probably like. I like the feel of the SL stock, but don't own one. If you want a lot of cheek weld, it would be hard to beat the SL-S stock. I've use the CTR in the past, and it was very solid and felt good, but I didn't like the dual lever system to lock it down.

I currently have B5 SOPMOD Bravo (the cheaper, lower profile version) stocks on my AR's. It's a good option for a stock with a solid lock up, fair amount of cheek weld without too much, fairly straightforward adjustment and it just looks good. A big negative of the MFT stock is it looks awful. the B5 Bravo stocks look a lot like the standard M4 stock in profile, while adding a few things in function.

If it's the wobble that is bugging you, I saw a post about a trick to fix that. Get a 3 inch strip of velcro, the soft side, and put that on the buffer tube. Apparently, that fixes the issue.

If you want a new stock, the Magpul CTR is really good. The locking feature makes it so it won't wobble at all.

Yeah a long time ago when I was like 12 I was in the boy scouts and was the best shot out in my group. I shot bad one time and one of the scoutmaster guys knew I was a good shot so he had the gun looked at and it had a loose stock. I just want to be able to shoot accurately.
