I ordered an Armalaser TR5 for my Glock 43 yesterday (Amazon $108 shipped).

I really like the design as compared to the Crimson Trace option.
I hope that the Armalaser performs as good as the reviews that I've read and videos that I've watched.

Anyone with real world experience care to share your experiences using Armalaser?

Please let us know how well it holds zero. I have had several crimson trace lasers in the past that attached on the trigger guard that didn't hold zero very well.

I received and installed my Armalaser TR5 for my Glock G43.
The fit is excellent! It is light weight and rock solid on the trigger guard.
The operation of the laser is automatic. The gold contact switch works great with your bare hand.
I doubt that it will work if you are wearing a glove, but I've yet to test that theory.

The laser never failed to turn on or stay on. I only needed to move my middle finger off of the contacts to allow for the laser to shut off. I also love having a master on/off switch.

I went to the range today to zero in the laser. I will attach photos of the laser and target.
During the zeroing process I was able to shoot a 5-1/2" group with 2 flyers due to my mistake in adjusting the laser in the wrong direction. Once properly zeroed, I was able to shoot a 2" group at a distance of 20'. I'm not a professional shooter by any means, thus I am impressed with that result.

I give this product a BIG THUMBS up for design and operation.

I modified my DeSantis Super Fly Pocket Holster so that my G43 would fit with the Armalaser.
Now I only need to find an IWB holster that will work for this combination. :)

Hi jfranks64 - Anything new to report on your new Armalaser TR5?

Hi jfranks64 - Anything new to report on your new Armalaser TR5?
Sorry for the delayed reply. I've been out of the country for a couple of weeks. Nothing new to report on the Armalaser since I wasn't allowed to take it with me. I hope to get some more range testing time with the laser (and my other modifications) before September arrives (I'm gone all next week as well).

I will say that the Armalaser is extremely to use. As long as it holds zero I will be buying another one to put on my M&P Pro CORE.

Update on my Armalaser TR5. I have over 300 rounds through the pistol since installing the TR5.
The TR5 is holding zero and has not had a single issue.
In FULL sunlight it is very hard to see the red dot at a distance of more than 15 feet.

I called Armalaser to see if they had considered making a green laser. The company representative told me that they already have a green laser for the G42/G43 (Model #TR5G).
It hasn't been released yet, but I am already on the waiting list.

Bonus is that the company representative told me that they could do an "upgrade" to my current TR5 (red laser) to the new TR5G (green laser). This would save me some money if I decided not to sell my current laser. Awesome!

Google search the Aramlaser TR5G and you will find several sites (opticplanet, etc) that are getting ready to sell this item.

Good Day, while surfing at work (don't tell anyone) I came across these lasers, I liked all that I read about them. I then started checking out IWB holsters. Checked my #1, Comp-tac....nope!!! I came across http://www.cooksholsters.com/ They list the 43 with this laser for IWB. Now I have to spend money.

FYI: I spoke with Armalaser last week. They are releasing the TR5G (green) laser for the Glock G43 on October 30th. They will be selling it direct and through several other websites (OpticsPlanet). They will also be listing it on Amazon starting October 31st.

I should be receiving my Tuckable IWB holster for the G43 with Armalaser TR5 from Cook's Holsters next week (3 week lead time on orders).
Armalaser just added the Tuckable IWB version for the G43 with Armalaser TR5 to their website on 9/28/15.
They already had several other holster options available for the G43 with Armalaser TR5, but I wanted the Tuckable IWB version.

I might change out the Cook's Holster belt clip and add the "Ulticlip" to this holster (if it is the right size).
I haven't tried the Ulticlip yet, but I like the reviews that I've read about it so far.

I will update with photos once I have the laser/holster/belt clip combination tested.

Thanks Jfranks64.

Its good to know they will do the upgrade, as I just bought mine with my G43 a month ago. I've yet to find a local vendor who can supply anything other than a pocket holster for it, though.

I have a local kydex maker who says he can mold me one custom, but it will take a week or two. Not sure if I want to give it up for that long.

I have one on a KelTec P32 and I like it a lot. It has many advantages over the Crimson trace Laserguard: it has an on/off switch for range practice, it has a separate battery compartment door so you don't have to remove the whole unit every time you replace the battery, it doesn't eat up any space on the grip under the trigger guard, and it doesn't have that feel of the "bump" on the grip where the button would be.

I have 5 or 6 Crimson trace lasers too, and I like them a lot, they are very good, but I like the Armalaser better. Unfortunately, Armalser tends to only focus on the cheaper makes and models, so their selection is very small. If they were available, I'd have them on all my semi-autos. They don't even have one for a Glock 19 or 26, or a Ruger LCP, 3 of the most popular guns of the last decade or 2 or 3.

I received and installed my new Armalaser TR5G. Looks, installs and works exactly like the TR5.

I am waiting for the next available full sun day so that I can update on the visibility of the new green laser. The red TR5 that I had on my G43 was washed out beyond 30' in full sunlight.

I still have to take it to the range and test my zero and overtime if it will hold zero as well as the TR5.

Custom holsters are getting easier to find for the Armalasers.

Attached are some photos of my G43 with Armalaser TR5G in the Tuckable IWB from Cook's Holsters.
Great detail on these holsters with solid (and adjustable) retention.
I took measurements and the Ulticlip would work if you wanted to replace the belt clip.
There is also plenty of room for your choice of sights. I'm running XS Big Dots on my G43.

A person can also modify some holsters to work with the Armalaser.

Here are some photos of my G43 with Armalaser TR5G in my "modified" DeSantis Super Fly holster. I've used this holster for almost 4 years now.

I cut out the original stitching along the dust cover and trigger guard area. Next I inserted my G43 with TR5G laser and marked the new outline. I then used the heaviest sewing thread that was available using a large needle to stitch the new profile. The DeSantis holster was so thick that I needed to use needle nose pliers to push the needle through. It was well worth the 30 minutes that it took me to complete this holster modification.

awesome info here, what thickness did you go with for the cooks holster? I just read this article and am thinking about picking up one for my 43 with the same green laser and my tcp 738

http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/20...uns.com/2014/10/jeremy-s/gear-review-cooks-holsters-iwb-w-adjustable-belt-clip/
I went with the standard thickness (0.80) for my Cook's Holster. It is a very nice holster with a very high quality fit and finish. Great retention with an easy draw.
Subscribe to Cook's Holster emails and you will get a 20% off discount code.

I have also ordered a Remora IWB (reinforced top) holster. I've read many posts about the Remora holsters and decided to try one. All I can say is that I LOVE IT! Super comfortable to wear.
If you subscribe to Remora emails, you can time your order and get 40-50% off the listed price of your holster, plus they throw in a "free" spare magazine pouch. They always seem to offer 20%-25% off on a daily basis.

So now I have 3 many carry holsters for my G43 with Armalaser:
1: DeSantis Super Fly (with modified stitching along the trigger guard area) to allow for the Armalaser, I've used this for a Ruger LC9, S&W Shield and Glock G43.
2: Cook's Tuckable IWB
3: Remora Reinforced Top IWB

I would recommend any of these products. All of them are well made and hold up to daily use.

FYI: Cook's now sells the "Ulticlip" if you find that to be a good option for your holster.

15 ft. right out of the box. The head and right were using the Laser.

How far do you think you can see the laser beam in an inside range?
