Are these Glock really me in the USA, or are they Austrian Parts assembled in Georgia. Quality on a par with Austrian made guns?

Thanks.

Feel free to read more here:

Unless someone on the inside of Glock knows or does an interview with someone who knows, it may never be clear or to-what-extent the products' steel, polymer, and assembly is done in the USA or not. The Federal Trade Commission apparently has an "all or virtually all" standard for items marked "Made in the USA". The last I heard, Glock doesn't give tours, either.

BTW, on a related note, I now have a mismatched G31gen3 due to a frame replacement with the slide marked "Austria" and the replaced frame marked "USA".

I understand why but I still think it is a bit sad.

Don't know if this helps the OP at all but my 3 gen2's all say made in Austria with no mention of USA on the slide.
I take it you've never heard of USA Glocks. They're plainly marked on the frame and slide, with a State of Georgia symbol on the barrel. You'd know it for sure, if you saw one. You wouldn't find it on a Gen 2.

Quality is the same. I personally feel the USA stamp looks odd on an Austrian pistol. Regardless if where it's made/assembled, it's an Austrian gun.

I won't buy one with a USA stamp.

Well it someday could be worth more than an Austrian gun to some koo koo collector.

If quality is the same, I'd much rather prefer a gun with "USA' on it.

Gotta support the home team as much as possible........
