MULE Tactical unveils AR15 hidden Glock stock

MULE Tactical unveiled its newest product at the 2015 SHOT Show in Las Vegas, an AR15 stock that conceals a backup pistol. The MULE Adaptive Storage Stock replaces a standard AR15/M4 style buttstock and is constructed of high-impact polymer. The buttpad is slightly curved for better retention and is capped with a firm rubber pad.

What separates the MULE stock from traditional ones, is the concealed holster inside. Attached by a large pin and clasp, the holster pivots along a hinge to reveal a backup pistol. Allowing the shooter to store both his primary and secondary weapons together.

I can see the need for carry an extra mag in the stock. Heck, the Israelis do it.

But a hand gun?

Initially, I thought that it might be a nifty option for SWAT types who need to transition from rifle to sidearm quickly. But after reading the article, it appears to be concealed inside the stock thus ruling out a quicker transition.

I hope the inventor didn't cash out his retirement plan to actualize this particular vision. Definitely not the worst idea, but I fail to see a practical application. I doubt few others will "get it" either.

That being said, there might be a small market if someone can create a stock that allows a handgun to piggy back on the stock for the reason I mentioned above. SWAT operators and timed shooters might appreciate shaving a 1/2 second on their transition times.

It's hard to find new things to make in the AR world I would guess. All we need is a USB port pistol grip to download pictures to look at in your red dot sight when not shooting stuff and we will be complete.

Wait...they are making one for the 1911 as well? Well well now..... :)

I don't see this being at all practical or useful.

to the purchaser. It will, however, sell tons of silly stocks and fill pages of otherwise empty paper in gun magazines.

That is by far the stupidest thing I have ever seen. Even dumber than the idiot I saw last summer using a pager pal. I haven't seen a pager outside a hospital since the late 90's.

Seems to me that its less of a tacticool thing and more of a storage and administrative transport type of thing. Could be wrong though. Either way, not my thing.

^^ this I know Rambo probably carries like 6 pistols all over his body just in case...but i think RW probably just 1 side arm..all ive heard of was 2 tops a buddy carried a PF9 M9 and his rifle..but thats a exception not the rule lol.
Rambo doesn't carry a pistol, He carries a hoyt!
