Who has one? Do they work? Will it be as good as my Chinese drum?
Thanks in advance

Aren't the Romanian drums windup just like the Chinese?I don't have a Romanian. I have a Chinese. I may have used it twice. It worked, but it was heavy and awkward. I assume if there is ever a SHTF and I am at a fixed position....it will work.
Now Romanian vs. Chinese. Chinese is easier to load because the back opens up. I loaded it up years ago and the spring is not under pressure. With the Romanian, the spring would be under pressure. Now, the question is the abuse tests. I think the Chinese would be better to clean out the mud or crap in the mag, but I wonder if dropped down a flight of stairs if the Romanian might hold up better.
BTW, to be honest, I really like the 20 round mags best.
My understanding....Aren't the Romanian drums windup just like the Chinese?

Fill it up, close the back, wind it 15 clicks and let it rip.
