Who has one? Do they work? Will it be as good as my Chinese drum?

Got some from a buddy who spoke Russian at the fall of the iron curtain, he went over and bought tons of com-block military equipment (also have 3rd gen Russian night scope).

I have used all 4 I have (2-100 and 2-75) I have never had a problem with any of them.

I am familiar with the chinese 75 round drum-mags. They were $29 back then and in vogue when cheap blasting ammo for the AK was $79 for a case of 1,000.

I don't have a Romanian. I have a Chinese. I may have used it twice. It worked, but it was heavy and awkward. I assume if there is ever a SHTF and I am at a fixed position....it will work.

Now Romanian vs. Chinese. Chinese is easier to load because the back opens up. I loaded it up years ago and the spring is not under pressure. With the Romanian, the spring would be under pressure. Now, the question is the abuse tests. I think the Chinese would be better to clean out the mud or crap in the mag, but I wonder if dropped down a flight of stairs if the Romanian might hold up better.

BTW, to be honest, I really like the 20 round mags best.

My understanding....

Chinese can have the back opened up.
The Eastern European drums load from the top.

Now....It looks like it depends on what you ordered.

Yep, mine are Romanian!!!!!




Fits great in the PAP, Mini Draco, WASR-10/63, M70AB2, M70B1 and Norinco Type 56S but look best in the AK pistols!
