Atlanta Arms 147-gr Glock (GSSF) load, either factory new or reloads. Velocity is 900fps. It is the load developed for Dave Sevigny.

even a general production gun like glock is going to vary from gun to gun. While dannyR makes a good suggestion, the answer is to buy a few boxes of various bullet weight and profiles and see what shoots best in your individual example. In my personal experience every 9mm I have had (probably 20 or more pistols over the years) and every glock 9mm I have shot, has shot best with something in the 124 grain weight. My feeling is since 124 grain is the standard bullet weight in europe for 9mm's and most pistols in 9mm are developed in europe, most development and testing there uses 124 and the guns are optimized for it's use. again that is not to say you personal gun might like another bullet weight. For me when I shoot any 147 grain load my groups open up to 50% or larger over what I shoot with 124grain bullets

Tied for 1st is my reload:

147-gr Remington Match
5.0-gr AA#5
Federal primer
OAL of 1.140 inches

The most accurate 9mm ammo for the Glock is the CCI/Blazer ALUMINUM casing 115 grain FMJ. As a matter of fact, this is the ammo that Glock uses to test fire all their weapons before delivery the guns. There is a good chance that you will find two (2) spent ALUMINUM casings that were shipped in your Glock gun box.

DO NOT mistaken the Aluminum Casing Blazer with the Brass, which is not as accurate as the aluminum. The power is not even the same.....much more dirtier for the Brass.

Get the ALUMINUM Blazer.

Most accurate 9mm for Glock. I have shot exclusively with this stuff more than most people.....something like 54,000 rds. of this stuff since 2001.

It might be prohibitive to do with today's prices, but I bought a box of everything I could get a hold of back when I was testing for my 17L. MagTech of some flavor or other is what worked for me.

I have a 28-year-old SIG226, a BHP, and two Glocks (17&19). I've found that the 124 grain bullet is best for me and my little shooters. Better accuracy, and very reliable. I sometimes have reloaded 115 gr. ball, too. It works, but I just prefer the 124's.

The Hornady HP/XTP bullet is excellent, except I can't get them now for reloading. I can't get ANYTHING now for reloading, in fact.

As for the Blazers, almost 30 years ago, before I got into reloading, I used to shoot these in my SIG226. They sucked. Sorry, but I'll never buy another box. Glock does use Blazers in their new guns for test-firing; I guess because it's cheaper for them to do so.

Anyway, 124's are my choice.

Regards,

AK
