Very handsome looking pistol!
 
A guy here shot his Finnish Lahti in a couple of IDPA matches.
He even knew the Finnish battle cry, long form against the Soviets.
It was reliable but not a fast gun fighting pistol like a 1911.
 
Obviously not a toggle type locking like the Luger, nor a tilting barrel like the Browning designs. Does it lock up ala the P38 or 92FS? :cool:
 
Thats classy. Makes me wonder if Bill Ruger didn't look at that when the designed the original Ruger 22.

More like a Bergman-Bayard than anything else. Now isn't THAT a lot of help?
It has an inverted U shaped locking block operating vertically in that rectangular bulge just in front of the bolt grasping ears. See one field stripped at
