^^^^^this either a detachable, like the Winchester 88, or rotary like the Savage 99 would be the way but neither is going to "come back" for the 7.62x39Pointy ammo doesn't work so well in most lever actions and box magazibne lever actions are pretty rare (I don't know if any are in current production).

but why?:dunno:Depends on how much money you want to put into it....I'm thinking a good gunsmith/shop could re chamber a savage 99 in 308 to fit the Russian....with the 6 shot rotary magazine the pointy rounds won't be an issue....might be the same with the Winchester 88....
I don't really know! :dunno: It was just in option....but why?:dunno:
the 527No leverguns in that caliber, but CZ makes a short Mauser with a detachable mag in 7.62X39mm.
Now Remington has imported the 799 in 7.62x39Ruger made a bolt action rifle in 7.62x39, it's also very rare.
Remington made licensed copies of Mosin-Nagants in 7.62x54R for the Czar about a century ago, how did that work out?:whistling:
