What do people mean when they say they have a Glock OEM magazine?

Thanks!

Yep. The OEM battery, memory, motherboard, display, keyboard, processor, case, all other internal parts, charger and track pad of my $1601 MacBook were made by $.17 an hour Chinese labor. Glad it wasn't made here. It would have cost $1627 if price adjusted for those greedy American workers. I wouldn't have been able to afford it if it meant $26 to keep those jobs here. OEM definitely doesn't mean it's made here.

OEM has nothing to do with where it's made. It simply means it is the original part supplied by the manufacturer as used on a new product. Original Equipment Manufacturer

^^^^
This!

Whether made by the manufacturer or subcontracted this was the original part used by the manufacturer who sold the pistol.

As opposed to parts that are made by after-market companies with the claim they will work on this application.

By using OEM parts you keep it stock. Aftermarket can be good or bad, some AM parts are better than stock or just as good and some are junk that doesn't fit right or is poor quality.

Recoil springs are an example. Some like to keep it stock and use OEM, some like to use an after market metal rod wirth an uncaptured spring they can change easily.

I don't understand how American manufacturers have stuff made overseas, at a lower labor cost, but still raise the price in this country. Does that make sense to you?
You just described why big business is ruining the world and billions of people are living in poverty and severely pissed off at capitalism and government. This isn't an opinion or debating point - it's a fact.

Get off your high horse. The point is that you have no point. Your house is full of Chinese stuff too. I don't care where a product is made as long as it serves it's purpose. You on the other hand, the guy that want's to get his country back, chose a foreign made product when there are US made alternatives. Hypocrisy rears it's ugly head again. So put up or shut up, sell your Glock & buy a M&P.

That's why unions are still needed in this world. The working class needs to stand their ground and work collectively for better wages and benefits while they bring profits to their wealthy employers and shareholders.

I saw his point loud and clear. We prefer US made but if the Glock better suits our wants, that's what we buy. At least Glock pays decent wages and sells it's products for a reasonable price. It's virtually impossible to not buy Chinese slave labor built products anymore. And those products' prices including my MacBook do not reflect the almost non-existant wages in China. You're the one who appears to be preaching from the high horse.
