I shot my new g26 yesterday, and with Pearce extensions that little gun is moving into position as my summer edc. Super comfortable, barely any recoil for a little gun. The lack of recoil really pleasantly surprised me! And it's dead on accurate!

That is what I use my single stack 9mm for (Kimber Solo)...when I can't carry my G27.
Or whatever your regular carry is: G30, G19, SR9, M&P whatever, compacts and subcompacts. Its something to move down to. It is also going to be something that the people who normally carry P3AT/LCP could move up to and in that case it may well be that the LC9/solo/Sig 290 becomes regular carry. I don't think that many guys with a subcompact will move down to it. Women may though. They have fashion problems with even subcompacts.

As someone already stated, it is really and apples to oranges thing.

The LC9 is much smaller when carried IWB. Many times in the real world, paper numbers and real world "feel"are greatly different. The trigger is just okay on the LC9, but it is getting better.
I don't know how anyone can say the G26 is more reliable than the 100% we have experienced with the LC9. Especially someone who doesn't own one. I have yet to see a bad review on function of the LC9.

The LC9 is a good gun at a great price. Ruger will sell lots of them.

Will I give up my G26 for one? No. Will I sell my PM9? No again.
I do think the Kahr CM9 is going to hurt he sales on the LC9. Most of the complaints people have on the LC9(real or imagined) are regarding safeties and such. The CM9 eliminates most of these concerns at a very similar price and in a smaller package.

All of my other Glocks have a full grip. I put the Pearce mag +3 on and its night and day for me. I really like the non recoil of the G26.

I would agree with the others that have said that the LCP9 and G26 don't occupy the same exact niche. I have both, and if I only could keep one of the two, I'd have to cut the Ruger loose. The Ruger is a smaller package and a more easily concealed pistol, and can quite literally fit in a pocket as it's narrow single stack. However I've only had the G26 for a couple of weeks and already prefer the trigger pull and feel of the Glock.

Bottom line for me is I'm going to keep them both. Good luck.

I've been very happy with my LC9 as well with just over 300 rds thru it. I have experienced one failure to extract that I blame on an underpowered Federal Champion round. The trigger takes a little getting used to, I don't mind the long pull nearly as much as the long reset. Other than that the gun has been flawless, I could do without all the safety crap but it's not as big a deal to me as it seems to be with others. I have already seen a procedure for removing the mag disconnect floating around somewhere.

ETA: You willing to give a Glocktalk discount on one of those IWB holsters?
