Anyone keep a Glock in the freezer? Say, when you're drinking, so you shouldn't have it on your person, and have an 18-month-old or younger kid (fairly incapable of climbing). Name some good places to keep our Glocks. Being tall, tops of things that are inaccessible to anyone else in my home, and undiscoverable to all but me (of course, this assumes that the house hasn't burned down, or the intruder doesn't have unlimited time to search EVERY square inch of the house - and believe me, they'd have to search most of them).

I have seen some zipper softcases that had loops on the opposite edge from the zipper so you could hang them from the bottom edge of a clothing hanger, put a shirt or jacket over it and it was well hidden.

In the toilet tank either straight in the water or in a ziplock bag. Have you guys seen the moutable magnets? Local gun shop owner has a REM. 870 mounted above the register using 2 of them. One will hold an all steel frame revolver. You could mount one just about anywear, though I would not put one on the back of a door just in case someone slams the door, it might nock the gun free.

Biometric pistol safe is your best bet.

FYI, all burglars alredy have a fairly good idea wear to hide stuff. It's like a job requirement. For them to make a profit they need to find the valubles.

#1 place to keep the firearm is on my person.

How about in a SAFE. You can get small ones that offer very quick access, and the price is too low to justify leaving a gun in a place where that 18 month old will soon be old enough to climb up to.

Safes are also a good place to keep it away from yourself when drinking too.

I have very good hiding places for most that nobody could find without being a genius... also have holsters built into my desk, coffee table, end table, and night stand... for when its not IWB its right next to me...

its either on me or my safe or on storage point I use when in shower but those are it nothing creative.

guys a warning about kids they are creative and have no preconceptions this makes them almost impossible to hide anything from. they explore every thing because they don't know whats there and are curious. also they are creative they will get there high or not. kides have bin known to clime on piled chairs or other things. just like they have no preconceptions they don't see danger the same as adults. there ignorance is there greatest weakness as well as there greatest weapon. DON'T UNDER ESTAMATE KIDS IF YOU DO YOU WILL REGRET IT. keep your guns in safes only way to be shore.
