Well, yes, I knew the brass problem wasn't connected to the trigger bar. The 2 things just happened to be in the same post. I try to keep a post on 1 subject but this was an exception.

Arc Angel quoted.
"I've, also, noticed differences in Glock pistols manufactured before 2006 - Differences I don't particularly care for like: excessive chamber rebate, smaller lock blocks, different LB fingers, different size rails, different shaped barrel hoods and lugs, different feed ramps, and in some cases different frame pins. Glock pistols may be, 'perfect'; but this perfection is obviously a constant ongoing, 'work in progress'."

I thought this was some things that only I, had a problem with. How many gun makers have modified the magazine followers 8 times, and counting?

I never noticed any of the stuff like failure to return-to-battery, or any slide chatter. We'll never use this as a range gun, it's strictly for SD. The only modifications that I have made on my Glocks has been to get a steel guide rod and ISMI spring. I'm partial to the flat wire springs and "captured" makes for easier recoil spring weight changes, at the range. I like to do the shooting with 20# springs. I stick to OEM for CCW.

I may look into getting an after market barrel for it. The KKM 357Sig barrel for my G35 is a very nice barrel. If I can ever get a chance to put enough ammo downrange with it, to feel it's reliable, I may carry that G-35 in 357. I could probably pick up close to another 100 fps with the longer barrel.

Thanks AA

 Oh, yeah, I forgot to say, 'magazine followers'!

OK, but until you get around 1,000 rounds through that pistol, remember to keep an eye on the front of the FP and the FP safety. Watch out for any signs of metal galling around the sides of the FP safety and the pass-through and safety grooves on the front of the FP.

Try some more hot SD ammo in it, too; but watch your brass very carefully. (All of my 45 acp reloads are done with 45 Super brass - A very good thing to do with any Glock 45 acp pistol!)

Like I said; 'Just to be safe, go ahead and get ahold of a #4256-1 trigger bar.' True, you may not actually need it; but, it certainly won't hurt anything to use one.

- Right! ;)

Gotcha, will watch out for the problems, in the slide. I do intend to change the trigger bar.

The Glock trigger bar has always intrigued me. It needs to be pretty much exact. That trigger bar sets the timing up for a lot of things to happen, in getting a bullet launched. Another thing, I study about, is how they inject the liquid polymer into a form that must contain the tabs for the slide guide channel and some steel reinforcement to very close tolerances.
Thanks

AS WELL AS THE TRIGGER MECHANISM TO PROPERLY RESET ITSELF, THE MAGAZINE TO FEED, AND THE SLIDE TO SMOOTHLY AND FULLY CLOSE!

Austin, in my experience there are very few people on this board who are able to genuinely appreciate the importance of what you just said! (And, that would include a great many factory certified armorers with whom I've been drawn into arguments about this subject over the years, too!) ;)
