I have them and think they're great, they fit well and seem to be durable. Lots of pockets and dividers to sort things and they come with the knee pads(took mine out because they sit too low basically on my shins). I ordered them in my normal 34" and I got 32" length because I was worried 30" would be too short and I'd rather have them too long to hem than too short but the added length worked out perfect with my boots.

I'd suggest giving them a try if you get the chance.

My EMS dept issues them. I like them except... the sizing is right on the line for me. The L is a hair too small, the XL is a hair too big; and I think I have a pretty average waist - 36".

I don't like them. They feel like plastic garbage bags in the summer and they don't have a rubber strip to keep your shirt tucked in and your pants from falling down. I wear a leatherman on my belt and that's enough to make them slide down. I prefer the Tact Squad EMS pants. They are very durable and haven't faded after more than 2 years. They have elastic on the sides which makes them more adaptable to different sizes. MedicOni, I used to live in Albuquerque and I bough the Tact Squad EMS pants from Gizmos on Central downtown. They always had good prices too.

5.11 EMS pants DO have rubber on the inner waist band and elastic in the waist for sizing... ?

At least the pair I have...

I might pick up one pair then, to try out... If anyone will ever get the black ones in stock. THey seem to be out even on line. But I might stick to the Proppers I've been wearing
 I hate the proper pants. I have not had the 5.11 EMS pants. I have tried some of the new TruSpec stuff. I have been very pleased and surprised. I just picked up the cargo type pant, but they are awesome. I would look at them as well.

Just got a pair of the "tactical EMS" pant. The women's sizes are pretty small, so I purchased a men's....fit well. Just a bit too many pockets....which I'm sure I'll get used to as I wear them more.
