I'm looking for new work pants and saw that the 5.11 EMS pants now come in black so I was considering those. Anyone try them yet? They look pretty good.

that might be a small problem. Here in NM it gets burning up in the back of a busthey are great many pockets to hind all you Sh&t, the keep all the fluids out since they have that barrier but in the summer time they dont let you breath. but they are great
5.11 EMS pants DO have rubber on the inner waist band and elastic in the waist for sizing... ?I don't like them. They feel like plastic garbage bags in the summer and they don't have a rubber strip to keep your shirt tucked in and your pants from falling down. I wear a leatherman on my belt and that's enough to make them slide down. I prefer the Tact Squad EMS pants. They are very durable and haven't faded after more than 2 years. They have elastic on the sides which makes them more adaptable to different sizes. MedicOni, I used to live in Albuquerque and I bough the Tact Squad EMS pants from Gizmos on Central downtown. They always had good prices too.
Mine are different then. Mine are made of ripstop nylon with cargo pockets and sewn in kneepads. They must be regular tactical pants.:dunno:5.11 EMS pants DO have rubber on the inner waist band and elastic in the waist for sizing... ?
At least the pair I have...
 I hate the proper pants. I have not had the 5.11 EMS pants. I have tried some of the new TruSpec stuff. I have been very pleased and surprised. I just picked up the cargo type pant, but they are awesome. I would look at them as well.I might pick up one pair then, to try out... If anyone will ever get the black ones in stock. THey seem to be out even on line. But I might stick to the Proppers I've been wearing
