Okay, so I'm quickly becoming a Glock-O-Holic. I picked up a Glock 27 a couple weeks ago and I love it.

My next will probably be a 36 or a 29 for CC. I like the feel of the 36, however the 10mm round seems superior in terms of firepower.

Which should I get FIRST? :) Any opinions?

Thanks,
Scott

G36 is nice cause its slim line but G29 is 10mm and double stack and can be had in the SF form now too incase the standard grip felt too big for ya. Personally I'd say go with the G29 because you've already got the G27 so if you really needed something smaller you've already got it. However, take into consideration that 10mm ammo is more expensive and harder to find. If you reload though...that'll be your best bet for cheap ammo.

Almost forgot, Welcome aboard. :) Nice seeing more WA people here.

Think about ammo availability. 45 will probably be easier to get in times to come.

G36 has the most problems of any Glock.
:whistling:
The gun is just like any other machine....if you operate it properly it works as designed.
The gun is righteous, but not everyone can shoot one.
That's not the guns fault.
Don't fall back on the early ones were junk, crap.
That's already been hashed over tooooo much.
My 2¢ worth

well one is the lowest capacity and most problematic glock in existence, and one holds 10 or 15 rounds of the most powerful caliber you can get a glock in.

i don't think there's anything that the 36 does that your 27 doesn't do just as well.
the 29 is a whole new ball game. diversify.

You G36 haters are funny.

It would be nice to have a count of how many of these Nay-Sayers owned a 36 or in fact shot one.
I'm thimkin some have, but the gun was just too much for them and they couldn't handle it. Maybe the SO shot it better than they did and they couldn't live with that fact.
You know sour grapes?

:dunno:
Sorry for the Hi-Jack

I had a G36. Only two things I hated about it. I hated that I couldn't get a factory extended slide release for it, and hated the capacity. That being said, it functioned flawlessly in the time I had it. Unfortunately had to sell it due to lack of funds at the time and I will buy another G36 again some day. Now if they'd make a slim line 10mm it would be tough to decide which to buy first, but I'd own them both at some point.

I've got a G36, it doesn't like 230 grain ammo. Other than that, if I shoot 185 grain ammo it works perfect.
