I’m new to RDS. What’s the most effective way to zero the dot?
One of the benefits of being able to see the dot movement is that it helps "call your shots." It helps diagnose WHY your shots are landing "low-left." Accordingly, it helps to FIX those user errors. Ask me how I know.
The dot has made me a better shooter, not because it's inherently more accurate. It has helped me be more aware of the elements in my technique that needed improvement. Another nifty tool has been dry firing with a Mantis X. And finally... 8 hours of private instruction in the past several months. All of that has added up to a significant improvement in my results.
