Haha. Sig=entertainment for me.

Thanks for sharing the information.

I agree with everything here. The community as a whole should let Sig analyze the input from owners having issues. Individuals that either already have issues presenting, or see telltale indicators of potential issues, such as the striker drag I've seen with mine, should call Sig and make them aware of what we're seeing.

Which is exactly what I'll be doing on Tuesday. I have several examples of brass with the drag marks on the primers I can send them. But all they really have to do is fire a few rounds through it. It's pretty consistent.
How many do overs do you give a company that is making products to defend your life?

As much as I love my AK prefix Gen 1 G17 it was far from reliable when new. Heck, it was several years before Glock cured the doubling and full auto issues. I still have the original black internals but I'd never even fire it in the original configuration. And how many decades did it that before the AR was "perfected"? Never a huge SIG fan but give em' a chance to rectify the situation. Not every designer is John Browning who got the 1911 (and so many others) right in very short order. Even the AK had some growing pains.
The problems you point out happened in the beginning of the companies, hence the term "growing pains". Sig is well established and I would call the problems they are having "rush to market pains" there is a SIGnificant difference.

It was rushed to market for SHOT.
It was rushed to market, the reason matters not. That is the root cause and a symptom of poor management.

When did I give Sig a "do over"? Please show me.

I remember saying how I wasn't going to hold Sig solely responsible for primer drags on small guns, as it's been proven that many small semi-autos have that issue. I did say that I was going to be calling Sig to send mine in to have that issue fixed.

I remember saying how I wasn't going to be carrying my P365 until the primer drag issue was resolved. Is that what you call me giving the company a "do over"? Clearly I disagree.

I remember saying how Sig needs to get an handle on the issues and get them resolved, rapidly.

Hmmm, nope, I don't recall ever saying I was giving Sig any sort of a "do over".
When did I call you out specifically?

It appears you have never given sig a pass. You do have to admit they cannot shoot them selves in the foot fast enough.

I was referring to post #42 above, when you quoted one of my posts and then asked, "How many do overs do you give a company that is making products to defend your life?"

If I misinterpreted what you were trying to get across, then I apologize.

And I agree, they seriously need to squash this as fast as they possibly can if they're to salvage any reputation they used to have.
No you got it correct, though I think I failed to get my point across. I will give it a go in a few minutes.

I was distracted while posting and it appears we are saying basically the same thing and I should not have quoted you in my post.
Thanks for helping me figure out where I went rogue. Apologies.
