So how does the glock 26 compare with the xds 9mm. Is there enough difference as far as the thinness to really tell when holding it in your hand?

An XD9 sub-compact and an XDs are two different things. And the XDs has a decidedly better trigger.I bought an XD9 sub compact and then sold it because it is just boxier than the G26. The person I sold the XD to carries it in a shoulder holster. I never tired that but an IWB just didn't work for me. The price of the great grip on the XD is the bulk and angularity IMHO.
If the triggers on the XD are improved I would consider a XDs in .45 but for now my G26 works. That is an impressive little gun.
Is the XDs9 even out yet? :dunno:If we're comparing the XDs45 to the G26, I'll take the G26 all day long.So how does the glock 26 compare with the xds 9mm. Is there enough difference as far as the thinness to really tell when holding it in your hand?
Well, after going directly to SA's website, I see that the are mentioning them.

I would still prefer the G26 over the XDs9. More rounds is more important to me and the width is negligible IMO.
Yea the new XDs in 9mm is out on the shelves now for sale to the public. I have a g26, I wish they would have scaled down the xds 9 instead of it being the same exact size as they couldve made it a bit smaller than the xds 45...but I still might have to pick one of these up in the near future, I like the xd line triggers they are the closest to a glock trigger imo.Well, after going directly to SA's website, I see that the are mentioning them.

I'm picking up my M&P Shield 9mm this weekend, but, since I am a gun lover, I wouldn't be against picking up a new XDs9, just because.Yea the new XDs in 9mm is out on the shelves now for sale to the public. Hello, my name is Navy, and I'm a Glockaholic.Yeah. It's an addiction.![]()
Me too.I ditched my G26 in favor of the XDs 45 and have no regrets.
I kept my G26 and added the XDS 45.Me too.
Same here still CC both but my go to first EDC is the XDS9. It's just a more natural of a pointer to me. I like the G26 but am not crazy about the grip angle.I kept my G26 and added the XDS 45.
That's always the best way to do it.I kept my G26 and added the XDS 45.
I sent my G26 to cold bore customs to get rid of the glock hump. Some of my friends that don't like the glock hump now love to go to the range with me.Same here still CC both but my go to first EDC is the XDS9. It's just a more natural of a pointer to me. I do believe your the only man/women I ever heard complaining that the grip safety pinches there hands. My wife doesn't complain about it pinching and her hands, and her are pretty tender and soft. :upeyes:I'm not an XD fan. I absolutely hate the grip safety. It pinches me nearly every time I grip one of these guns, and I don't understand why they designed it so the grip safety has to be depressed to rack the slide.
