I cannot find a recoil spring assembly for my Gen 2 Glock 19.
They are sold out everywhere except on Ebay, (where they are marked up significantly.!!!)
If I wanted one for any Gen 4 ,Gen 5, I can get one, but not the gen 1-3
Are there "hoarders" out there or is Glock just not supporting the old pistols anymore?

This site says IN STOCK:

GLOCK OEM Recoil Spring Assembly Gen 3 19,23,32 SP02457 (kmtactical.net)

ETA - thanks to @L-2 for catching the fine print that this is NOT OEM (see his post #6 below).
The URL has OEM and SP02457 in it.
The following information is also advertised:
  • Recoil Spring Assembly for Gen 1-3 Glock 19, 23, 32
  • Part:#02457
  • Factory New!
  • Does Not Fit: Gen 4 or Gen 5
  • Made in the U.S.A., not Glock OEM.
Fine print at the end states not Glock OEM.
This appears to be somewhat confusing until you get to the very end.

Thanks I had not heard of that one. I tried MidwayUSA/Brownells/Numrich/Glockstore/etc. and they were all sold out.

Do note the vendor in Post 2 (I'd not heard of them before either) does state in the fine print the RSA is not Glock OEM. It might be perfectly fine, but buyer do beware.

It might actually be a good time to go with something like a Wolff-brand guide rod with replaceable recoil springs.

I like the lone wolf stainless guide rod and spring assembly, When the spring wears out you just change the spring, not the whole unit.

Thanks for all the help. I ended up buying 2 on ebay from a local Massachusetts seller and another one from a Vermont seller. The shipping via US mail was cheap and I received them in less than 3 days. (Some of the websites had high shipping costs and up to 10 days shipping )
I now have a new RSA in the gun and a spare in my parts kit. I believe that the demand has outpaced the supply as many retailers that usually carry them are sold out.

It has been my experience that many LE agencies armorer overhaul all their guns on a schedule and sometimes the agencies happen to do it within the same time frame. Also, Israel, US Special Forces, and many other countries now issue the Glock 19 and change springs regularly. If no one has them now, wait a couple of months and try again. Get on several backorder notifications. Glock still has parts, is a healthy manufacturer, and making all they can. They just sell all they can make. Lastly, US citizens have bought more handguns (a lot of Glocks) in the last two years than they usually do in a decade.
