I hear about folks getting killer deals on firearms. Locally it's hit or miss. I'm looking for a Mossberg 930 spx 18.5 12 gauge 7+1 and the best I can find in San Antonio 700+ tax. I found one online in RI for 560 + 45 shipping and 25 FFL 3%CC and I might as well buy locally for a little more and have it tomorrow.

Any suggestions? Most that I've seen online is comparable to local. Where do most here buy their firearms?

Try Gallery of Guns https://www.galleryofguns.com/genie/ . By entering your firearm preference and zip code, you will find the deals in your area. I've only used them once but received a very good deal.

It has already been mentioned, but I'll emphasize slickguns.com.

There is no one online vendor who has the best prices across the board. So do a search through slickguns, and they'll show you what various vendors are charging for whatever it is you're looking for. It's an easy way to find the best price.

I use it all the time.

Buds, slickguns, CDNN, gunbroker, grabagun, bigdaddyguns (terrible website but good prices at times), gallaryofguns.
Grabagun and CDNN are in Texas so you'll have to pay tax. I buy stuff online and have it transferred in to Helotes Tactical Firearms frequently.

Stay away from Kentucky Gun Co. Up charge for CC, extra charge for insuring the shipment and the shipping times are very slow. After hitting submit there is a 10% restocking fee to cancel the order.

I second Galleryofguns.com. If they have it in stock, your LGS of choice will have it in three days. 20% down up front to GOG and pay the remainder to the LGS when you pick it up. They are all I use anymore, plus you can enter a monthly drawing for a free gun.

Bud's is the same way with charging a credit card fee. Also, their "free" shipping doesn't include insurance - you have to pay for insurance if you want your gun shipped insured.
