I like Gun Zone Deals but I love Grab-A-Gun!!!

GunBroker will do for obscure stuff.

I don't buy a lot of firearms online but I've bought from Palmetto State Armory, Grab-A-Gun, and Smoky Mountain Guns & Ammo with no problems, shipped to a local FFL of course. I always pay with a credit card for an extra level of security.

So, which particular seller did gun.deals direct you to, OP?

I've noticed that for many guns, the same bulk sellers tend to have the best prices. Odds are good someone here will have used the seller you're asking about.

I agree that buds used to be good but they totally rip you off on shipping charges even though they claim shipping is free.

I use grab a gun for the majority of my online purchases now, they Rock!

Guns.com is a funny place. It's a conglomeration of many that sell through them. Most everything is high, but sometimes you can catch guns being sold at bluebook.
For those that don't know, the bluebook is the gun seller's bible on screwing people looking to sell guns. It has not kept up on the actual worth of guns so all the prices listed are low. They will use those low prices to tell you your guns are not worth much.

The only online dealer I've ever used is Buds. Fast service, reasonable prices, they have what I'm looking for, I'm too lazy to look around trying to find a "better price." For mundane stuff, they're my go to.

Mostly though, I just go to my local dealer.

Let me change directions here: I suggest looking for a local small FFL operating from their home or having a small, home business; you can google FFLs in your area on a couple of sites. Let them do the work of getting the firearm. And they set prices that can be less than what you see online. I, as well as all FFLs, follow the MAP which is the lowest the manufacturer allows the price to be. But it is my experience I can beat a brick and mortar store and many online sites. (I don't have the markup that they do)
Some take CC and some check or cash. The guarantee on the firearm is almost always back to the manufacturer no matter where you get it. This is a general comment based on my experience - yours may be different.

I'd say the experience really depends on which specific retailer it directs you to. I’ve personally had good luck with sites like GrabAGun and Palmetto State Armory—they’ve been solid for online orders.
If you’re shopping online, don’t forget you’ll need a local FFL to handle the transfer. If you’re in Minnesota and planning to carry, make sure you’ve got your bases covered with the **** Rapids MN conceal carry classes —it’s always good to be squared away legally.
